Matt Damon and his team rode in the 68 mile (109 km) Cape Argus Pick ‘n Pay Cycle Tour in Cape Town, South Africa, on Sunday.

He participated with his brother Kyle Damon (with whom he rode a tandem bike) and former rugby captain Francois Pienaar.    Matt will be playing Pienaar in Clint Eastwood‘s new movie about the South African Springboks’ Rugby World Cup win in 1995.

The Cape Argus is South Africa’s biggest one-day sporting event, with over 35,000 participants.   It is also the world’s largest individually timed cycle race.
