First Two ‘American Idol’ Finalists Sent Home, Big Secret Twist Revealed!
Jasmine Murray and Jorge Nunez were sent home in the first elimination night of American Idol season 8. The big secret that was going to be revealed tonight is this: the judges can save one contestant this season who was supposed to be sent home. But they can only do it once, and the next week two contestants will be sent home. However, they can only do it up to the top 5. Wow. Great surprise. Snore!
Kanye West and Kelly Clarkson performed, and both were steller as always! The other two contestants who were in the bottom with Jasmine and Jorge this week were Megan Joy Corkey and Anoop Desai.
