M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘Airbender’ Gets a Cast
M. Night Shyamalan‘s next film is a live action movie of Nickelodeon animated TV series The Last Airbender. The film is moving forward and has a growing cast.
Aasif Mandvi (TV’s “The Daily Show”), Shaun Toub (“Iron Man,” “Kite Runner”) and Cliff Curtis (“Live Free or Die Hard,” “Virus”) have joined the cast of M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Last Airbender” for Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies.
Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature follows four nations (Air, Water, Earth, Fire) tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction.
Honestly, I don’t know why they even let M. Night Shyamalan make movies anymore. But this seems more his speed.

I want to know why M. Night has cast so many white actors for a story clearly set in Asia with non-white characters. And why cast members like Jackson Rathbone think all they have to do is get a tan to get it right. Check out the blog aang aint white for even more idiocy. I will not be seeing this movie!
