Nicolas Cage Wants to be a Villain in ‘Dark Knight’ Sequel
In an interview with MTV Nicholas Cage expressed interest in playing a villain in the next entry in the Batman franchise.
He said: “I would love to play a supervillain. I think that would be a whole lot of fun, yeah. If they call and invite me, I’d do it. Certainly.”
Seemingly enthusiastic about the prospect, he said he was a fan of previous villains and liked the thought of joining their dastardly ranks.
I really hope he doesn’t play in the next film. I just don’t see him in a role like that, it’s hard to take him seriously.

He was excellent in Faceoff as a villian. If he WAS casted in the Batman Saga, I would not write off the movie so fast.
I have thought for some time now, that Nicholis Cage would be the perfect choice to play the Riddler. He looks similar to the Riddler from the comicbooks, and he’s a great actor. Not to mention that he plays a lot of highly intellectual characters, and the Riddler has a genius IQ. He could do for the Riddler what Heath Ledger did for the Joker, NO PROBLEM!
