Only 3 days away from the end.  ER gone for good.  Well, not really gone, gone.  We will have the re runs to watch for ages, I am sure.

TV Guide Mag got in on the ER cast party…….here’s a bit:

Though Parminder Nagra says she’s been craving cornflakes and spicy Indian food during her pregnancy, it was party food she was in for at the ER finale party at Social Hollywood on Saturday night.

Before heading inside, she took time tell TV Guide Magazine about her years as the series’ female heartthrob, Dr. Neela Rasgotra. “I was supposed to be the resident nerd of the show, but then I turned into the resident slut,” she said. “I don’t really know how that happened, but I enjoyed it.”

Of her suitors she said, “They were all so nice, and c’mon, you’ve got Sharif Atkins, John Stamos, Shane West and David Lyons; they’re all good-looking boys.”

Indeed, all of the above made their way down the red carpet decked out for the occasion, including Shane West, who had this to say about Ray and Neela’s happy ending. “The fact that she actually showed up in Louisiana to find me was kind of perfection.”

Inside the party, creator John Wells made a touching speech thanking the crew, the writers, and many directors. However, the biggest cheer came for the number of actors in the series, totaling 5,453. Many of the familiar background nurses, orderlies, and other doctors were there as well. A clip reel was then screened, highlighting the many guest stars, kisses, explosions, and bloopers.

Oh how much I wish that I could have been there for this party.  Can you imagine getting to see them all toast to the years…..wow.  What a moment.  Oh boy, get me some Kleenex….
