Starring: Donald Faison, Mike Epps, Wood Harris, Omari Hardwick, Emilio Rivera, Yasmin Deliz, Lauren London, Mos Def
What it’s about: Two inept criminals are mistakenly delivered a package of cocaine and think they’ve hit the jackpot, triggering a series of events that changes ten people’s lives forever.
Rating: R
Thoughts: The movie has the potential to be pretty funny, good line-up of comic actors, but is the script solid?

Star Trek
Starring: Chris Pine, Simon Pegg, Winona Ryder, Jennifer Morrison, Eric Bana, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana
What it’s about: A chronicle of the early days of James T. Kirk and his fellow USS Enterprise crew members.
Rating: TBA
Thoughts: This movie will undoubtedly be one of the biggest releases of the year. I can see the people camping out already.

Adoration
Starring: Scott Speedman, Rachel Blanchard, Kenneth Welsh, Devon Bostick, Aaron Poole
What it’s about: For his French-class assignment, a high school student weaves his family history in a news story involving terrorism, and goes on to invite an Internet audience in on the resulting controversy.
Rating: R
Thoughts: I really haven’t heard much about this film, but it doesn’t sound that exciting.

Little Ashes
Starring: Robert Pattinson, Javier Beltrán, Matthew McNulty, Arly Jover, Marina Gatell
What it’s about: About the young life and loves of artist Salvador Dalí.
Rating: R
Thoughts: Dali was an amazing artist, one of my favorites. It will be intriguing to learn about his life and what made him tick.

Rudo Y Cursi
Starring: Diego Luna, Gael García Bernal, Jessica Mas, Guillermo Francella
What it’s about: Two siblings rival each other inside the world of professional soccer.
Rating: R
Thoughts: Great actors, I’m sure this will be an engaging film at some level.

Summer Hours
Starring: Juliette Binoche, Charles Berling, Jérémie Renier
What it’s about: Two brothers and a sister witness the disappearance of their childhood memories when they must relinquish the family belongings to ensure their deceased mother’s succession.
Rating: TBA
Thoughts: Doesn’t sound all that thrilling to me.
