On last night’s season finale of The City, we saw Whitney Port dump a heartbroken Jay Lyon, leaving him standing alone in the street, in tears. I kind of just figured that as soon as the show wrapped, they got back together and it was mostly all for tv. Apparently I was wrong!

The City creator and executive producer Adam Divello exclusively confirms to Us, “Whitney and Jay are broken up as of The City season finale. There were a few factors in their relationship that led to their split and fans saw those play out on-air. As we pick up where we left off when the show returns later this year, viewers will see what unfolds as we continue to tell Whitney’s story.”

On Friday, Whitney was in Vegas to celebrate her sister Ashley’s bachelorette party. She told us having a relationship in front of a TV crew has been hard for her, “It’s really difficult. Put yourself in this position. It’s hard to have an intimate relationship no matter what, whether there are cameras there or not, so it’s not the most natural thing. It kind of speeds [the relationship] up. It takes a lot of the spontaneity out of it.”

Well, congrats to Whitney I guess. I really loved them together, but she can definitely do better. She deserves the best of the best!!!

American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee frolicked in the Hawaiian surf while shooting her new film “You May Not Kiss the Bride” yesterday. Her co-star David Annable lost his shorts and she got ahold of them, tossing them in the air.

I don’t know what she’s been doing for work-outs, but that chick has got a rockin’ body! And apparently she is turning into an actress now, as she will also be appearing on CSI:NY in April. Good luck to her in all her success!!

She broke into the scene in 2006 with her hits “Fidelity” and “Better”, and the Russian-born singer Regina Spektor is prepping her next release Far with some pretty impressive music-makers.   When asked about her thought processes:

I’d like to say I did but I really didn’t. With novels or operas or other grand works of art I’m like, “Wow, how the f— did you do that?” I’m much more on the level of understanding how someone can draw a picture or write a poem or short story. I’m into immediate gratification. I have enough of an attention span to follow through on one concept…and then I’m bored. If artists were machines, then I’m just a different kind of machine.

The WHO??  If you’re not familiar with The Clancy Brothers, chances are you’re not traditionally Irish (at least in upbringing), but they should matter a whole hell of a lot more today, especially if today gives you a reason to hit your local pubs tonight!

The folk group popular in the 1960′s and bey0nd, consisted of brothers Patrick “Paddy”, Tom, Bobby, and Liam.   The last surviving member, Liam, continues to tour and perform solo renditions of their groups greatest hits, which you can SAMPLE here.  Check it out, get in the mood, and be safe while celebrating!

Natasha Richardson was hospitalized on Monday afternoon in Montreal, Quebec following a ski accident she was in. She has suffered a serious head injury because of this accident. The extent of the injury is not known.

Her husband, Liam Neeson, who is filming a movie in Toronto right now, rushed to be by his wife’s side:

“Liam Neeson left the Toronto set immediately to fly to Montreal upon news of his wife’s accident,” a rep for his film Chloe said in a statement to Canadian TV. “We do not have any details at this time but we hope for the best and our thoughts and prayers are with Natasha and Liam and their family.”

Natasha and Liam have two children, Micheal, 13, and Daniel, 12.

Our thoughts are with the family at this time and we will keep you updated with any news about Natasha’s condition.

Sienna Miller debuted her new fashion line, Twenty8Twelve, last month at London Fashion Week.   She and sister Savannah founded the line in 2007.    Sienna recently commented on her new venture:

I think people think I’m more fashion-y than I actually am as a person. I don’t have a stylist. I don’t plan outfits. It’s quite thrown together and I often look quite disheveled. But I think clothes and bright colors can definitely affect the mood, the way you feel. But working with my sister is wonderful because I don’t get to spend enough time with her. She’s a proper designer with a first in design from St. Martin’s. When she was studying, I’d kind of get involved and say, ‘What about making this shorter or this longer, or taking this in here?’ So it was a very organic thing for us to do. Obviously my involvement helps draw attention to the label, but my passion is acting. But we have a really great time doing it.

Sienna sounds a bit misguided here.  Her involvement does, in fact, draw attention to the label, but not for the reason she thinks.  It’s exactly BECAUSE she “often looks quite disheveled” that people are interested to see what the hell kind of design’s she’d come up with.   Her “proper designer” of a sister must be horrified every time Sienna goes out in public!

Back in January, we shared a preview of hottie Bar Refaeli‘s new series of ads for surfwear company Hurley.   Now a few more shots are available for your viewing pleasure.  Small wonder that she made the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition this year, eh?

The ad campaign is said to ‘illustrate a theme of a young woman’s journey and discovery.’    That’s all well and good, but I’m sure most folks who see these ads are going to be much more interested in their value as eye candy rather than art!

A feature film version of the animated show Johnny Quest is in development. Zach Efron might be Johnny. 

“High School Musical” franchise star Zac Efron talked to Moviehole about possibly starring in a live-action adaptation of “Jonny Quest” at Warner Bros. Pictures.Race to Witch Mountain director Andy Fick and star Dwayne Johnson are circling the project as well.

Efron would play the title role, while Johnson would play Race Bannon. The popular 1960s animated Hanna-Barbera TV series revolved around a young boy who travels the world with his scientist father, adopted brother from India, Bandit the bulldog, and a government agent (Bannon) assigned to protect them as they go on their adventures investigating scientific mysteries.

This is one of those projects that doesn’t interest me much, all I can think about is the terrible Speed Racer. Some things are better left alone.

There’s a MacGyver Movie coming down the pipeline.

New Line is using twine, bubble gum and a pencil to throw “MacGyver” into development as a feature film.

Raffaella De Laurentiis, daughter of Dino De Laurentiis, is producing through her Raffaella Prods. along with Martha De Laurentiis and series creator Lee Zlotoff.

Dino De Laurentiis is exec producing. 

“MacGyver” was a science-oriented adventure series that ran from 1985-92 on ABC. Richard Dean Anderson, later of “Stargate: Atlantis” and “SG-1″ fame, starred as an incredibly resourceful secret agent for the Phoenix Foundation who frequently would escape from dangerous situations with ingenious and lightning-quick engineering trickery.

This movie has definitely been a long time coming. Get ready for all the fanboy uproar over casting and every other detail that they don’t like.

Matthew McConaughey spent his Saturday with his lovely girlfriend, Camila Alves and their adorable son, Levi.

It looks like Malibu was a wee bit chilly.  Little Levi was buried in blankets and Matthew is sporting a beanie with his hot wetsuit.

Is it just me or is Matthew McConaughey sexy no matter what he does or wears?  Seriously, the guy is always smokin!

McConaughey has his latest movie, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past coming out on May 1st.  I can’t wait.  I love everything he’s in!
