Disney is making a new family comedy called Wouldn’t it be Nice. 

The story follows a teenage couple who, just before they plan to run away together and pursue their dreams, are magically zapped 20 years into the future only to discover that their lives didn’t necessarily turn out as expected.

In their mid-30s but with teenage minds — and dealing with three kids and everyday worries — they learn that maybe they weren’t as grown up as they once thought.

Sounds like Disney is encouraging people to think twice about getting married, not something I would have expected.

That’s not very fierce, Tyra! At a very unorganized casting call for the next edition of America’s Next Top Model, mass chaos broke out- injuring four, sending two to the hospital and leaving 3 people arrested.

Police didn’t know what prompted the chaos involving hundreds of people outside the Park Central New York hotel in Manhattan. The panic left the street outside the hotel littered with shoes and clothing, according to news reports.

“It was pretty scary,” Jessica Paravati told WNYW-TV. She said she was caught up in a stampede after waiting on line overnight, hoping for a shot at stardom on the reality show.

Two women and a man were arrested on disorderly conduct charges, police said. Authorities also shut down the audition, saying it wasn’t properly organized.

Ha!  When I first read this and saw this snaps, I laughed.  It’s so ridiculous.  Pretty much the entire cast of New Moon is a bunch of smokers.  Taylor Lautner and Jackson Rathbone were the only ones not lighting up.  I think Taylor is too distracted by his fugly wig to smoke.

While they may not have packs of smokes rolled up in their sleeves on-screen, perhaps they should consider finding some better habits since they hold the hearts and allowances of every impressionable American tweenager in their slowly yellowing hands.

Ain’t it the truth?  I just don’t think the young stars of today really give a rats @ss about the kids they are influencing.  They are caught up in themselves and don’t take the time to reflect on their true public image.  I don’t think they understand how powerful they are.

Lil Kim might be having fun dancing with current Dancing with the Stars champ Derek Hough, but it looks like she has gotten herself into some legal trouble again.

U.S. rapper Lil’ Kim currently owes nearly $1 million in state and federal tax liens in California, New York and New Jersey, records show. SOHH.com reported Saturday the “Lighters Up” rapper owes $979,090, including $833,000 worth of liens filed by the IRS in New Jersey, because of 2004 tax problems. The remaining tax debt includes a $4,089 lien filed by the state of California, $129,410 worth of liens filed by the state of New Jersey and a $12,599 tax warrant filed by the state of New York.

Lil’ Kim, whose real name is Kimberly Denise Jones, also missed payment on her Bentley automobile and has been sued by Simon & Schuster, Inc. over an financial advance for a book, records show.

Her representative said she is currently paying off those debts and will continue to do so. Dancing with the Stars is a great gig, but I doubt it’s paying her a million bucks. Best get to rapping, girl!

Here’s a rundown on the plot:

Will centers on a high school outcast and a popular girl who form an unlikely bond through their shared love of music. Assembling a like-minded crew of misfits, the friends form a rock group and perform in the battle of the bands competition at their school.

Teenager Will Burton lives in his head, and his head is filled with music. When his mother, Karen Burton, gets a new job in New Jersey, Will starts his junior year at a new school only to find the old cliques still apply, but rock-n-roll rules the scene. Perpetually a misfit, Will strikes up a friendship with like-minded outsider Sa5m (the 5 is silent). They are both surprised when the school’s “it” girl, Charlotte recruits Will to help assemble a band to compete in “Bandslam,” a battle of the bands that is “Texas High School Football BIG.” Charlotte’s ex-boyfriend Ben Wheatly is poised to win with his band Glory Dogs – Springsteen wannabes down to their hats. For the first time in his life, Will finds he is uniquely suited to not only participate in something, but to truly make a difference.

Britain’s Prince Harry took his pretty pink manicure out for an evening at Raffles nightclub in London.  But look – one wonders if the younger prince is being given enough spending money, as it seems he only got his left hand done.

Other clubgoers thought it was odd too:

‘No one knows why he’d painted his nails and the fact that he’d painted only one hand was even stranger,’ one guest told The Mail on Sunday.

‘It looked most bizarre and Harry seemed a bit embarrassed by it. He kept slipping his hand in his jeans pocket.’

Come on… you know he was messing around with some girl and she wanted to paint his nails, so he let her!  They probably got … uh… interrupted before she could get to the other hand!

Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson were spotted together at the Metropolitan Opera’s 125th anniversary gala at Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center in New York tonight (March 15th). I love how you can see the two of them are in love. Doesn’t every girl wish that their guy would look at them like that.

I love Joshua’s new show this season, Fringe, I thought I would have a hard time and see him as Pacey but I found I didn’t even think of it at all. The show is on hiatus right now but is due back in April. I can’t wait because I am addicted to his show.

Vanessa Williams attended the 34th Annual March of Dimes Beauty Ball at Cipriani 42nd Street. I’d say she pretty much defined the word. The color of her dress is such a complement to her eyes – they really pop!

I am so excited to see Brittany Snow on the new Gossip Girl spinoff.  She will be playing ‘Lily’.  I think Brit is an excellent choice for the part and she will do an amazing job.

TV Guide got the inside scoop from this rising star.

Brittany Snow is vintage ’80s on the set of the CW’s new Gossip Girl spin-off. “My hair right now is a little teased, feathered like Farrah Fawcett with curly bangs like Brooke Shields,” says Brittany, who plays a young Lily Rhodes—many marriages before she becomes the van der Woodsen mom to Serena and Eric—in the prequel pilot currently called Lily.

The nostalgia doesn’t end with hair. Brittany drives a white 1984 Porsche Carrera convertible down Malibu’s Pacific Coast Highway. Teenage Lily also rocks out at a Sunset Strip club to a punk band played by No Doubt (including Gwen Stefani!), who will perform a cover of Adam & the Ants’ “Stand and Deliver.” Brittany says Lily has two distinct looks in the episode. She starts out appearing very upper-crust, “but then I undergo this transformation from being a very preppy girl to being more a rebellious teenager in the underground punk-rock scene.”

The story—set to air as part of Gossip Girl’s May 18 season finale—kicks off with a drama involving Serena (Blake Lively) that sends Lily (Kelly Rutherford) into a flashback of getting booted from boarding school. “She wants to get kicked out so she can go live with her father,” says Brittany, who is 23 playing 17. “She comes up with this elaborate plan to kiss a boy, and then lie about it, which is against the school’s strict honor code.”

Lily’s dad, Rick (Andrew McCarthy), a music mogul, doesn’t want to live with Lily, and Lily doesn’t get along with her mom, CeCe (Cynthia Watros). So she ends up in the valley with her black-sheep sister Carol (Krysten Ritter), who’s dating musician Shep (Ryan Hansen). Shiloh Fernandez plays Owen, an ex-con and Lily’s love interest. Turns out Brittany and Shiloh already kissed when the two appeared in a Cary Brothers music video. Owen isn’t the only one in trouble with the law—Lily lands in jail in the first episode.

Jail, huh?  This sounds like it will have a great jump start!  I can’t wait!!
