I love Robert Pattinson as much as the next girl but there is something about this first photo shoot of his that looks just awkward. He did this shoot with Lucy Flower in 2001 in retro-style Miu Miu swimwear for the South China Morning Post newspaper’s weekend magazine.

“Robert was such a shy, reserved little boy back then, I never would have thought he had that kind of superstardom ahead of him,” Lucy tells Star in an exclusive interview. “Also, I don’t believe he was very comfortable with the outfit he had to wear and the fact that he was shirtless. So it’s not surprising that he was so quiet and seemed so nervous that day.”

I can’t believe how much one person can change so much in only eight years. I think I am just freaked out because 2001 just seems like yesterday.
