Demi Moore Saves A Twitterer

Demi Moore Golden Globe Awards

Twitter is all the rage these days. And as it’s a  glamorized message board people have turned into more of a chat thing. I was on Twitter yesterday, and was watching Ashton Kutcher tweeting. He put up an article that linked back to a news story saying that Demi Moore had saved a Twitterers life by calling the police.

Demi had received a message directed to her from one of her followers describing how she was going to end her life. The tweet itself was quite graphic. (And has since been deleted from the followers time line.) And the next message to her general followers was that she was going to kill herself.

Demi then reported the incident to the police who found the Twitterer and brought her to the hospital for evaluation. It’s amazing how just one thing like that can save someone’s life. The latest Tweets on this girl’s timeline is that she is home from the hospital now and is very grateful for the help she received.
