Marisa Tomei rocked the movie “The Wrestler” by playing a sensual ageing stripper, a role she actually enjoyed, learned a lot from and had fun doing. It was a difficult physical role and the actress confesses she knows a few more pole dancing moves she didn’t have the opportunity to show off in the movie.

Marisa says: “I had about a month to learn! It was great fun but pole work is physically quite difficult. I actually had a few tricks up my sleeve that we never got to show…!”

Pole dance is getting really popular between celebrities… it seems like everyone is doing it from Carmen Electra and Kendra Wilkinson, who have or will have their own line of stripper poles, to celebrities like Jessica Biel and Marisa Tomei, who had to learn this difficult ‘dance’ for movie roles.
