TMZ Sources are reporting that Chris Brown‘s people are in “heavy” negotiations with Rihanna‘s people due to the fact that the pop princess is trying to stay as far away from the case as possible.  Currently, she’s hunkering down in her native Barbados once again, hoping Brown cops a plea bargain, and she won’t have to testify in an actual criminal trial.

Brown still allegedly plans to plead NOT guilty at his court appearance tomorrow, but this may simply be a formality.
