With David Alan Grier and Lawrence Taylor in the bottom two of Dancing with the Stars this week (Ty Murray barely escaped), it was time for the dance-off… The judges all praised Grier and Kym Johnson‘s performance and they ended up with a new judges score of 24, a 2 point improvement from last night. Taylor and Edyta Swlinska‘s pasa doble was better, too, but they somehow ended up with the same exact score of 20.

When the new scores were combined with America’s votes, David Alan Grier was eliminated from the competition. I’m not a fan of the dance-off thing- it doesn’t change anything. Denise Richards danced better but was sent home, and now Grier. What’s the point?
