Did you happen to see the beginning of this season’s ER?  If you did then you saw Dr Pratt (Mekhi Phifer) die a very sad death…it brings tears to my eyes where I remember the tears streaming down his face as they sucked the blood from his mouth….oh, sorry!  Anyhow, Mekhi is moving on over to Lie To Me where he will appear on the last two episodes of the season (May 6th and 13th).  Then hopefully the show will get renewed and he will be a full timer for the new season.

“Mekhi plays Ben Reynolds, an FBI agent who becomes a liaison with the Lightman Group,” Baum tells TV Guide Magazine. “Mekhi exudes confidence and charisma and will be a great player opposite Tim Roth.”

Mekhi first comes on the scene to help catch an incarcerated serial rapist (played by Daniel Sunjata of Rescue Me and “The Devil Wears Prada”) who may be in contact with a copycat serial rapist terrorizing DC.

Sounds intense!  Can’t wait to see him out of his scrubs and out on the crime scene…..
