The day that Eminem takes a bold step away from making the same video EVERY TIME, will be a glorious day in the music video world.  I’ve simply stopped hoping for it, and I’m starting to think you, and you, should as well.

It’s not to say that his new vid clip for his latest single “We Made You” isn’t lost in humor (it’s definitely hilarious), it’s just… the same as virtually every music video he’s done.  A Weird Al Yankovic-meets-mainstream brand of visual.

Bret Michaels, fittingly so, is obviously the target of Em’s jokes (and he strangely looks EXACTLY LIKE HIM), along with:

As far as hit single potential?  I’m still not convinced I’ll  be playing this on the mixshow circuit anytime soon, but then again that’s the same impression I had after hearing “Crack a Bottle” which quickly rose to the top of the charts and request lines.
