With Anoop Desai, Scott MacIntrye and Lil Rounds in the bottom three, Simon Cowell said this was the first week that there was a real possibility the judges save would be used (um, didn’t he say that about Alexis Grace?)… Anyway, after a performance by season 5 finalist, Kellie Pickler, Ryan Seacrest revealed that Lil Rounds was safe. Shocking.

Out of 25 million votes, only 30,000 separated Anoop and Scott, but Scott received the lowest number. Two judges thought he should stay, while two thought he should go. After a little more deliberation, Simon revealed that the judges save would not be used, as he had the final decision. He’s a sweet guy and a great singer, but the point of the save is to rescue someone who could really win, and I don’t think Scott could. We wish him only the best and pray that he gets to continue to live his dream. We love you, Scott!!!
