Taylor Swift went to her best friend’s 18th birthday party where the girls got decked out in prom dresses and went out for Chinese food.  How fun!  makes me miss those younger years….  Anyhow, Miss Swift knew she wouldn’t be using her Jessica McClintock gown again so she gave it to DonateMyDress.org where it sold for $1,200!!

“I chose to give away this prom dress because I wore it once and loved it! To keep it around, hanging there all by itself and lonely in my closet, never to be worn again seemed a little pointless. I want another girl somewhere to feel good in it and have a great prom night because of this dress.”

Wow.  There is one lucky and very happy girl enjoying that dress right baout now!  If you’ve got some dresses you don’t need, think about donating them like Taylor did.  I think it’s a great idea!
