Paramount Pictures is set to release J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek” feature film a few hours earlier than originally planned.

The anticipated feature will start at 7pm on Thursday, May 7th says Coming Soon rather than midnight that night as previously reported.

You know, as much as I enjoy movies I’ve never felt the need to buy opening night tickets. I just don’t understand how some people can get so worked up over the opening of a movie being delayed by a day or two.

That being said, I am looking forward to this one. I am however quite nervous it will be all space explosions and lasers, and be strikingly lacking that “plot” thingy that most Hollywood movies seem to lack these days.
