Or at least her bikinis will. Contestants in the Miss USA Pageant will wear bikinis designed by Jessica Simpson when they compete for the crown tomorrow night in Las Vegas.

The singer (and apparently, part time designer) created two bikinis just for Miss USA – the white and gold string bikinis that will be worn during the swimsuit competition, and the green bikinis shown in the promo picture below.

When pageant organizer Donald Trump was asked why he chose suits by Jessica Simpson, his spokesman said:

“Why not? They’re fabulous swimsuits.”

I dunno.  I’ve seen her current collection and it’s OK, but nothing that I would term “fabulous.”   I saw cuter suits at Target today, to be honest.  Jessica really should find one thing to focus on and stick to it, because she’s not serving herself well at all, trying to be a singer/actor/perfume maker/designer/what have you.
