I’m Nick Wolfwood, and I’m counting down all this summer’s movie releases, big and small, weekend by weekend from May 1st – August 28th.

Here’s what opens on June 24th:

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Starring: Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Hugo Weaving, Rainn Wilson, Josh Duhamel, John Turturro, Tyrese Gibson

What it’s about: Decepticon forces return to Earth on a mission to take Sam Witwicky prisoner, after the young hero learns the truth about the ancient origins of the Transformers. Joining the mission to protect humankind is Optimus Prime, who forms an alliance with international armies for a second epic battle. 

Rating: TBA

Thoughts: My feelings on this movie are mixed, but I don’t doubt it will have some killer robot battles and at least a moderately entertaining story line.
