Golden Girl Beatrice “Bea” Arthur Dead At 86

It has been confirmed, actress Beatrice “Bea” Arthur died at her home early this morning. The 86 year-old, who is best known for her role as Dorothy Zbornak in “The Golden Girls,” suffered from an undisclosed type of cancer.

Rue McClanahan who played Blanche Devereaux on “The Golden Girls” issued the following statement: “37 years ago [Bea] showed me how to be very brave in playing comedy. I’ll miss that courage and I’ll miss that voice.

R.I.P. Bea Arthur!!
