Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes threw a nice, little birthday bash for their sweet Suri’s 3rd year of life on this earth.  They wanted to keep it small and private.  But, of course the paps wanted a piece of the action and since they weren’t invited, they took to the air via helicopter and Tomkat called the cops on them, no surprise there.  I think that Suri had every right to have a pap-free party and they should have stayed away.  By the time the LAPD flew over, the paps were gone.

So, Suri had a great birthday party anyhow.  All is well and Suri is on her way to 4……I wonder if she’ll be a big sis by her 4th birthday……?

Matthew McConaughey seems to love his new role as father to his son Levi with girlfriend Camila Alves.  But don’t expect him to change anything by marrying any time soon.

“It’s just not something I plan on doing right now, and that I feel like I need to do right now.  It’s not an institution I’m against at all.  I’m actually for it, believe in it and have seen it actually be very, very healthy for many relationships. Some people go through it some great ways.  I don’t have any plans for it.”

I hope Camila knows this!   Seriously though, they seem like a very happy couple.  If not being married works for them, then more power to them.

Beam me up!  There was a whole galaxy of hotness last week the German premiere of Star Trek.  Let me count the ways:  Karl Urban, John Cho, Zachary Quinto, Eric Bana, and Chris Pine.  We’ll throw Simon Pegg in there for good measure (don’t want to hurt his feelings), but he’s more cute than hunk.

If the objective for attendees at the Cathy’s Kids Foundation 5th Anniversary Dinner was to embrace the fug until it hurt like a mother, Bai Ling and Phoebe Price were the belles of the ball.

In one corner, we have Bai Ling wearing a prom dress from 1988.  In the other, we have Phoebe Price in a tent that could house a family of five, topped with Indiana Jones’ hat.

I wonder when DJ AM went to the Coachella Festival on Saturday he was wondering if Britney Spears was performing there?  Seriously though, I think if a DJ that knows alot about music wears a shirt that says Britney on it she must be cool. I know I would die if I saw someone wearing a shirt with my name on it. (Although, I’m not sure how many shirts I’ll see around with Taylor Blue on them.)

Up next for DJ AM? A new series on MTV called, Gone Too Far.

The show chronicles tough-love interventions for young people whose lives have become unmanageable because of chemical dependence. DJ AM will be present throughout the intervention process, which will be led by an addiction specialist.

I know I’m addicted to the reality shows on MTV so this will probably be a good one. I wonder when they’ll come out with a show about being addicted to reality shows?

Lauren Conrad was on hand last night to host the official grand opening party at Wet Republic at MGM Grand Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. I like that dress but it worries me that it flows so much. I would be afraid that someone would ask if I was pregnant in that dress.

Up next for Lauren is an appearance on Family Guy. I’m not a huge fan of Family Guy but I might have to tune into this one. It airs on May 3rd. Whitney Port will also be making a cameo appearance in that episode.

Mandy Moore hosted the season opening of  TAO Beach at the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas yesterday. Mandy sure has the newlywed glow about her since she recently married singer, Ryan Adams.

She recently shared with Details magazine whether there would be a chance for Mandy and her husband to collaborate.

“When it comes to the possibility and potential to collaborate, or to be able to run decisions or ideas by someone … it’s nice to have that. I feel very lucky, you know?”

I think they would be great at collaborating.

Mallika Sherawa, who is best known as “the Marilyn Monroe of Bollywood“, was the first Bollywood star to get her own milkshake at Millions of Milkshakes. She launched the Mallika shake, which includes blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries with chocolate sauce and whipped cream topping, after attending a special event for her new film “Hisss” at the Fangoria Convention in Los Angeles yesterday (April 18).

“Brooke Knows Best” star recently came out to defend her daddy, Hulk Hogan, after he made some shocking comments on how he understood why O.J. Simpson did what he did. Hulk and wife Linda Hogan had gone through a nasty divorce but she made a quick recovery and is dating some 19 year-old kid.
