No one has heard much about Dancing with the Stars professional dancer Derek Hough‘s relationship with former celebrity partner Shannon Elizabeth lately. He’s progressing in the competition with current partner Lil Kim and making waves with his band the Ballas Hough Band. Now he’s been spotted muggin’ down with actor/singer Katie Voegele… But don’t worry, it was just for her music video for 99 Times.

The video portrays Voegele “walking around a room filled with boyfriends who have lied to her and broke her heart,” Hough said to People. “At the very end she kisses me and then pushes me down, causing a domino effect with all her past boyfriends.”

“The video was so much fun to shoot and Derek was awesome,” raves Voegele, who also plays Mia on One Tree Hill. “Great dancer, great musician, great kisser. That guy’s got a few things going for him!”

Voegele’s second album A Fine Mess will be released May 18. I love her on One Tree Hill and she’s a super talented songstress. Personally, Derek Hough‘s a little on the cheesy side for my taste, but he’s a cutie. Can’t wait to see the video!
