Manny Ramirez is the latest mega sports star to pull the steroid “dumb card”.  Manny is acting like he didn’t know he was taking something that wasn’t allowed.  Yeah, most GUYS out there take hCG, a human chorionic gonadotropin which is a WOMAN’S fertility drug.  I love the way these athletes always put it on the docs like they have no common sense, no say so in what they take into their bodies.   Give me a break.

“Recently, I saw a physician for a personal health issue. He gave me a medication, not a steroid, which he thought was OK to give me,” Ramirez said in a statement issued by the players’ union.

“Unfortunately, the medication was banned under our drug policy. Under the policy that mistake is now my responsibility. I have been advised not to say anything more for now. I do want to say one other thing; I’ve taken and passed about 15 drug tests over the past five seasons.”

So, Manny Ramirez will be out fo 50 games.  I say it should be the entire season.  And  yes, I would feel the same way if it wasn’t a Dodgers player.
