With Dancing with the Stars losing a huge chunk of it’s male audience due to the departure of Julianne Hough, it looks like some female viewers might say goodbye as well. Mark Ballas and Derek Hough are part of the successful Ballas Hough Band and might be leaving to focus on their music (just like Julianne). Here’s what Derek had to say:

“Mark and I might not be back, either,” Derek says. “We have other things going on.”

Derek and Mark’s band, Ballas Hough Band, released their debut album, BHB, in March. “There’s a bunch of stuff on the table right now,” Derek said, “and we’re going on tour this summer.”…”We’ve got to see what happens,” says Derek. “But it would be crazy, all three of us…leaving at the same time.”

Good thing for the show they are doing the professional dancer auditions right now and we get to pick our hottie replacement! And what’s up with all these dancers turned singers? Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are apparently singing now, too. Geesh!
