Kendra Wilkinson Spills Details About June Wedding to Hank Baskett

Kendra Wilkinson, Hank Baskett

Kendra Wilkinson recently shared the story of when she and fiance Hank Baskett first swapped “I Love You”s, and now she is spilling details about their upcoming wedding!! I love this couple… They seem so madly in love and so sweet together. Here’s what Kendra had to say about the emotions of her big day:

“I’m a crier.  I laugh. Whenever I feel like crying I’ll laugh to overpower it.  So I’ll be laughing on the way down [the aisle] because I’ll see Hank crying,” she said. “I know he’ll cry. When I get to him, that’s when I’ll cry.”

Then Kendra mentioned that they will be writing their own vows, which will probably cause even more tears to flow.  “I need to start writing them now, but I don’t know where to start,” she said. “I need to start with the perfect word…I can’t think of the words to start it with. Like, ‘The day I was born?’ or like, ‘The day I met you?’ I mean, what do you start with?”

In regards to whether they will live up to their partying lifestyle through bachelor and bachelorette parties, what Kendra said was kind of surprising:

“We are very, very old school. The whole last-day-of-freedom thing is not us. We are very happily giving up our freedom. I mean, we are still free, but we are very happily getting married.”

Good for you, girl! My husband and I feel exactly the same way. If you feel like you’re giving up something by getting married, you probably shouldn’t be doing it at all. You gotta have that old school passion and commitment to each other- which it totally seems like they have. Our best wishes go out to this super gorgeous couple!!!
