Adrien Brody was spotted going into the Staples Center in Los Angeles today to watch a game of basketball. It seems like everyone was at that game.

While researching Adrien today I found out something that would have totally changed the world as we know it. Adrien was originally up for the role of The Joker in The Dark Knight. If that would have happened that movie would have been really different. I can’t see him as The Joker at all.

Adrien was asked if he was disappointed that he didn’t get the role, and this is what he said…

Yeah, sure I was. But you know, Heath did a tremendous job. I am happy that he excelled so much in that film. Heath was a friend of mine, so when I watch the film I don’t think about losing a role, I think about losing him. To sit there and watch such phenomenal work and have it be done by such a bright young person makes me actually quite depressed. I am way past any personal feelings (about not being cast).

Heath Ledger went on to win the posthumous Oscar for that role. Heath was amazing in that role.
