This is one of those horrible stories you never want to see.  When it’s about children, the pain is so much more intense.  Mike Tyson’s daughter, Exodus accidentally hung herself on a treadmill cord and is now on life support in very critical condition.

Tyson’s 7 year old son was the one who found his 4 year old sister hanging from the cord……

The mother sent the boy to find the 4-year-old girl who was playing in a separate room. The boy found his sister in distress and got his mother, police said.

“Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there’s a cord that hangs under the console — it’s kind of a loop,” Hill said. “Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it.”

The girl’s mother took her daughter off the cable, called 911 and attempted to revive her.

Tyson flew home immediately from Las Vegas when he got the call.  He hasn’t made a statement as of yet.

Our thoughts and prayers are going out to this precious little girl who’s life is haging on by a thread. We hope and pray for a full recovery.

Let the Twilight Saga: New Moon hype continue!  The countdown to November marches on and we all wait with baited breath for anything from the set to be released.  I love seeing pics of all of our New Moon stars on the set and during their down time between shooting.  These shots from Montepulciano, Italy are great.  Talk about a kick @ss place to work!  I would be loving every minute.  Ahhhh, this is the life of the rich, famous, and extreme hotties!   I am so ready to see the first teaser/trailer!!!

It looks like Malibu beach was the place to be for Memorial Day celebrations. Pamela Anderson was spotted on the beach in her white bikini with an unidentified male. (It might be her boyfriend but I don’t think that looks like him.) You know the holiday’s can be…you never want to be alone.

Pamela doesn’t look too bad in that bikini. I guess that cover-up does wonders. I will have to invest in a couple for me this summer too.

Lady Gaga surprised fans today by performing at The Chapel for an intimate invite only concert in Australia. How cool would that be to invited to a concert like that? I’m sure it was amazing because I’m sure all private things are like that.

Lady Gaga has admitted that if it wasn’t for her fame she would die…

“There are times when it can be a lot to deal with but always when I get up in the morning I try to find that very joyful place that reminds me that I would die if someone took it all away. I have such an appreciation for where I am in my life because I’ve struggled and because I couldn’t get signed, and because I couldn’t get played on the radio.”

“Right now, the only thing that I am concerned with in my life is being an artist. I had to suppress it for so many years in high school because I was made fun of but now I’m completely insulated in my box of insanity and I can do whatever I like.”

I think that most people would say when they are not so famous that they are glad they got to experience what they did. I’m glad that she got to make something of herself and show those people that she is better than them. But being famous isn’t the end all to be all.

Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted leaving a private Memorial Day beach party today with his girlfriend, Reese Witherspoon. There were pics of Reese too but I just wanted to show the ones of Jake. I like Jake. I can’t wait for The Prince of Persia to come out so I can watch him in all the shirtless scenes.

Also at the private party? Robert Downey Jr and Tom Hanks. Now I would love to be at that party to just talk to any of them.

Ahhhh, Southern California life.   The lovely Kristin Cavallari was spotted hanging with friends at Malibu Beach yesterday.    Kristin looked gorgeous in a white sundress, and really seemed to be having a good time with friends.  Great way to spend a holiday weekend!

Katie Holmes joins a calvalcade of stars appearing in PBS’s National Memorial Day Concert.   Katie will appear alongside her All My Sons Broadway costar Dianne Wiest.   They will

be paying tribute to José Pequeño, a Staff Sergeant severely injured during a tour of duty in Iraq, by sharing his story and that of his mother Nellie Bagley and his sister Elizabeth.

PBS says

“this year’s special tributes are to the veterans of World War II, Korea and Vietnam and the sacred war memorials built in their honor in the Nation’s Capital. Actor Charles Durning, a highly decorated World War II veteran and 14-year National Memorial Day Concert participant, will be recognized for his bravery and sacrifice as part of the “Greatest Generation.” The valor of the newest veterans will be honored as the program examines the lasting bonds that buddies form on the battlefields of Iraq.”

Other celebrities scheduled to appear include Laurence Fishburne, Katharine McPhee, Trace Adkins, General Colin Powell.  The concert will be hosted by Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna.   The show airs on PBS at 8:oo pm Eastern.  Check your local schedule here.

I wonder just how high sales at 7-11 and AM/PM would spike if they switched to advertising like this?!

Actress Lyndsy Fonseca is set to play a role in the upcoming film Hot Tub Time Machine.

The actress has booked a part in United Artists’ time-travel comedy “Hot Tub Time Machine,” now shooting in Vancouver. Fonseca will play Jenny, the girlfriend that slipped away from John Cusack’s character in 1987 whom he revisits when he and some friends accidentally travel back in time via their Jacuzzi.

Fonseca, repped by ICM and Management 360, just completed shooting “Kick-Ass” opposite Nicolas Cage. She continues in her roles on HBO’s “Big Love” and the CBS sitcom “How I Met Your Mother” and stars with Drake Bell in the CBS comedy pilot “The Fish Tank.” 

This movie sounds utterly strange, time travel movies are tricky to pull off cohesively. This is certainly a good break for Fonseca playing alongside John Cusack.
