Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt are having a blast at the Cannes Film Festival in France. They have been happily posing in the red carpet and partying like there is no tomorrow. Paris wants to show the whole world just how much fun the couple is having together and offered him a very explicit lap dance at a party.

I think Paris made a fool of herself. Those lap dances should be done in private… but that is something the two fame wh*res still have to learn. I wonder how much longer these two are going to stay together…

Eva Herzigova has been in Cannes like just about every other celebrity on the planet this past week.   She attended the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS 2009 cocktail party at the Hotel du Cap.

I am having the hardest time deciding what I think of her ensemble.  Let it be known first off that I adore her dress.  I love the corset lacing detail, I love the shimmery tulle.  It’s like the best of the 1980s updated for today. It’s totally fab.

BUT.

Her hair is completely blah.  Like would it hurt to get a good blow out, or at the least use a little mousse?  The necklace is way too chunky for the dress.  Her earrings don’t go with anything – dress OR necklace, and you’d think they’d at least match one or the other.

And then when you see (below) what a hot mess she turned into at Christian Audiger‘s birthday party later… um.  Eva?  Might have been better to just sit this one out.

So I’m still on the fence.  Help me out here and vote – is Eva hot or not?

If you are a fan of Fringe we’ve got an update (well sort of)  for you on Kirk Acevedo and the drama of his ‘firing’.  Well, actually Kirk put it out there on his Facebook……

“WELL BOYS AND GIRLS THEY DONE DID YER BOY WRONG! THEY FIRED ME OFF FRINGE, AND I’VE NEVER BEEN FIRED IN MY LIFE!!”

Of course the executive producer, Jeff Pinkner says,

“like all things on Fringe, there is more to this story than meets the eye.”

He’s implying that Kirk isn’t fired and that Charlie will be around for season 2 of Fringe.

“We have already seen two of him on the show,” teases Pinkner. “We have already met the second Charlie. He had a scar on his face.”

Hmmmmm, this is odd. Why is Acevedo blabbing on Facebook if his Fringe future is secure?

Thoughts anyone?

Spencer Pratt admitted that he lied about something. Are we really surprised anymore? He says that he lied about saying that he started the whole sex tape rumor thing so that Lauren Conrad would go to the wedding. Now, why would he lie?

“Let me give you the exclusive right here… See, my lovely wife wanted that girl, LC, to be at our wedding, and I knew I had to do whatever as [an] almost-husband to get her dream wedding put together. So I lied and said that I made something up to make somebody feel good about themselves so that they would attend the wedding.”

“That’s what a husband should do for a wife… Do anything at all costs to make them have their dream wedding,” he added. “….Yes, you did have that tape and yes, [your ex-boyfriend] was trying to sell it. Thank you for coming to the wedding. Love ya. Mwah!”

That Spencer is so romantic it makes me want to be sick. And I can’t get over that he has to bring it back up. Why not just let sleeping dogs lie? Or in his case be a liar?

Jackson Rathbone, who plays the vampire Jasper Cullen in Twilight, says that fans have a hard time recognizing him when he’s not in movies.

“I try to change my look in every role I take on: clothing, hairstyle, walk, facial expression, and the way I speak. Sometimes it’s subtle and sometimes it’s not, but as I am not a blonde in real life, people often do the double look before approaching me.”

He was a blonde in Twilight and in Criminal Minds his hair was shorter and put behind his ears. I think it’s awesome how he makes himself like a chameleon for his roles. You have to check out Jackson’s band, 100 Monkeys, they have an awesome style.

Vanity Fair has released the outtakes from their photo shoot with Chris Pine in their May 2009 issue. Those blue eyes shine through in these pictures, even the black and white ones. And even after all this time Chris isn’t jaded about who he is and where he has come from, both his mom and dad are actors. He told Vanity Fair…

“I know where I come from and what I want and why I got into. I know the reality of it. I just hope that I have longevity in my career.”

I think that Chris has many movies in front of him. Especially since he is so well known now for Star Trek.

This one is pretty funny.  One of the writer’s for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation has gotten into some hot water and is taking CBS for a bumpy ride.  This writer got personal with her writing skills and used a real life story for an episode to get back at some peeps that screwed her over in a real estate deal.

According to the suit, filed moments ago in L.A. County Superior Court, Scott and Melinda Tamkin claim “CSI” writer Sarah Goldfinger sought revenge against them by allegedly using their names and likenesses to craft a recent episode of “CSI.”

Here’s the rub — the Tamkins claim their fictional counterparts “engaged in a reckless lifestyle of sexual bondage, pornography, drunkeness, marital discord, depression, financial straights and possibly even murder.”

The Tamkins claim CBS acknowledged the problem and changed the names “at the eleventh hour,” but because the first names matched, and the original last names had already made it to the Internet — the damage was already done.

Sounds like these people are real ‘winners’ and now that the dirty laundry is out for the world to see, they are pissed.  Lesson here: don’t mess with people in showbiz, they will get the last laugh!  I highly doubt they will get the $6 million that they are suing for.  Give me a break!

Before Britney Spears gets back to London on Junes 3rd, she is taking a break in the Bahama’s with her family and friends at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort.  Hwo fun is that?!  Her boys, Jayden and Preston are having a blast with mommy and that is awesome.  I totally appreciate that Brit is keeping up with her ‘mommy duties’ along with her hectic tour schedule.  I think she is doing great and I totally give her props.

I think I would hate going back to the Circus after all this R&R!

Elle MacPherson ruled the red carpet at the CW Network’s Upfront 2009, held at Madison Square Garden in New York.   She looks freaking incredible!   This dress is simple and sophisticated but plenty sexy.  I love that she chose to accessorize so sparely- just big sunglasses and a cool chunky watch.   Well played!

It’s interesting how Angelina Jolie is often just as simply attired, but manages to look harsh rather than hot.  Is it in the attitude, I wonder?  Regardless, whatever Elle is doing, she should keep it up.
