Sad news has surfaced, actress Lucy Gordon has committed suicide. 

Lucy Gordon, who had appeared in ten films including Spider-Man 3, committed suicide in her flat in the city’s 10th arrondissement yesterday morning while her boyfriend was still asleep.

He found her body when he woke up and locals said that he rushed down to a shop below to ask for help but it was too late. The actress would have celebrated her 29th birthday tomorrow.

Very sad, I wonder how people can reach a level of such desperation. My condolences go out to her family and friends.

We might be seeing Ghostbusters 3 sooner than people were expecting. 

Dany Aykroyd tells The Los Angeles Times that they “could be in production by winter” on a third “Ghostbusters” film for Sony Pictures.

Not only are he, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson set but Sigourney Weaver is also onboard now using “Year One” scribes Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky’s script which has a new generation of Ghostbusters taking over the duties of the aging team.

The sooner the better, I just hope they can make it a worthy sequel.

Michael Moore the controversial documentary filmmaker that brought you Fahrenheit 9/11 is bringing his next film to theaters this October. 

Overture Films and Paramount Vantage have announced that Oscar-winner Michael Moore’s new documentary feature will be released domestically on October 2, 2009. The as-yet-untitled film will explore the root causes of the global economic meltdown and take a comical look at the corporate and political shenanigans that culminated in what Moore has described as “the biggest robbery in the history of this country” – the massive transfer of U.S. taxpayer money to private financial institutions. 

I’m sure it will be interesting to see, he’s always very aggressive in his interviews. His personal beliefs are what he is always pushing, but he does it convincingly. He’s an award winner for a reason.

Zach Braff is putting on his director shoes again, this time it’s for the new Cameron Diaz comedy Swingles. 

Zach Braff is in negotiations to direct, rewrite and co-star in the comedy “Swingles” for Paramount Pictures.

Cameron Diaz has already signed on to star.

Braff will play a supporting role. The male lead is still being cast.

Braff is a very funny and talented man, I’m sure he’ll do a good job.

I think it’s so sweet seeing hot momma Salma Hayek with her (20 month old) daughter, Valentina at work.  Salma is working on her latest film, Grown Ups and brought Valentina to work.  I am sure the little princess was a huge hit.  There’s something about babies in the workplace.  They seem to lift the heavy, everyday cloud and bring in a breath of fresh air.

Good work, Salma!  You are a great mommy!

Funny or Die has been working overtime it seems. Yesterday it was Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock and today it’s Cam Gigandet. Last week, pictures of Cam came out of him playing what looked like soccer with a bunch of kids, but know it’s clear what the pictures were of. They were filming this.

The whole story goes that some Twilight fans get mad at ‘Cam’ because his character James tried to kill Bella and hurt Edward. What ensues is a hilarious fight between Cam and the fan girls. I am still bummed that James was killed I would love to have seen him in the other movies too!

It must be that Jennifer Love Hewitt’s new love, Jamie Kennedy is giving her lots of mushy feelings that are translating into country songs.

Jamie would love for his love to get back into the music career….

Chad Lowe and his gorgeous girlfriend, Kim Painter are proud new parents.  This happy couple welcomed their baby girl on Saturday, May 16th.  The little pink princess goes by the name, Mabel Painter Lowe.  It’s kinda funny how these “old classics” are making a huge comeback….

Anna Faris likes to send sexy text messages to her fiancee, Chris Pratt, but is afraid that she will send the text to the wrong person.

“My fiance and I, when we first met, we had sex-text-Wednesdays. Every Wednesday we would text each other the naughtiest things. I was always so terrified that I would accidentally send it to my dad, because my dad is right below my fiance in my phone list. That would be terrifying. But it was really fun.”

She admits now she is more careful with sending texts because you just never know who will receive them.

“I sent a text to a small child, asking the small child if they wanted to get drunk with me. But I meant it for my friend. The small child said, ‘I don’t know what getting drunk means’ so bless the small child’s little heart.”

I think everyone gets a little nervous sometimes that they aren’t sending it to the right person. I have heard so many funny stories about that. But, of course I have never done that myself. EVER.
