Jason Priestly and his wife Naomi were shopping at Von’s in Burbank, California when they rushed out carrying their 22 month old daughter, Ava.  The took her to St Joseph’s hospital.  There haven’t been any further reports, so we can assume that everything turned out ok.  It looks like Jason has some blood on his shirt.  I fell so bad.  I hate it when little ones get boo-boos.

Take that, Kristen Cavallari!! You may be getting sloppy seconds to Lauren Conrad‘s fame, but she’s getting the last laugh. Back in September we told you about a book series that Lauren is penning that is loosely based on her own life experiences. Now, we have a sneak peek for you into the first novel to be released this summer, “L.A. Candy.” The crazily anticipated debut book hits stores June 16, and the hot reality starlet gave her previous employer, Teen Vogue, a first glance. (Hey, they did jump-start her career!)

The heroine of her story is 19-year-old Jane Roberts, who moves to Hollywood and ends up the star of her own reality show. Sound familiar? Art imitates life for The Hills star, although Lauren Conrad says the book is entirely fictional.

“Some of the characters may symbolize people in my life,” the 23-year-old soon-to-be Hills retiree said, “but it is in no way calling anyone out.”

I am so happy for Lauren and the successes that she is landing in life. She doesn’t need The Hills anymore, though I know she will always be grateful to the show for making her a household name. She’s still a down-to-earth girl with drop-dead gorgeous looks, sophistication, intelligence, and effortless style. We love you, Lauren!

Good grief.  Mel Gibson is a slime ball.  We already knew that and we kinda thought that he couldn’t get any worse.  Now he has.  Mel knocked up his girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva …..the woman he’s been cheating on his wife with.  This was already going to be a messy divorce, but this is just going to make everything even more ridiculous.  This makes me feel even worse for Robyn…..

This guy has a 28 year old daughter along with 6 other kids.  Now he will have 8 kids.  The last thing Mel Gibson needs is another kid.  He is anything but a positive role model for children (or anyone for that matter) and I think that Oksana can’t be much better.  Mel Gibson makes me throw up in my mouth…….blah.

Tyra Banks thinks way too highly of herself. From her self-serving America’s Next Top Model program, to her low class talk show, she pretty much thinks the world revolves around her. And when another judge started stepping on her territory at ANTM, she fired back, literally. While she blames budget cuts for the release of Paulina Porizkova, everyone knows that her ego was being hurt having someone more beautiful, intelligent and talented than she was on the panel.

“The current state of the economy has forced shows to make major budget cuts industry wide,” said Banks and Mok in a joint statement obtained by People. “America’s Next Top Model is not immune to these financially challenging times. We’ve had to make significant cuts in every area of the production and, unfortunately, Paulina was a casualty of these cuts.”

Riiiight. There are other places to make cuts… How about cutting back on some of the exotic shoots, or expensive outfits, or high-end living quarters? Or why not get rid of “Miss Jay” who is more of a joke than a judge? Paulina actually gave that show a hint of credibility, but I guess that was too much for Tyra.

I am so not a fan. Can you tell?

My favorite show on television is giving me a double dose in 2009! So You Think You Can Dance has announced that in addition to it’s usual summer season, they will also be airing a fall season in primetime this year!

Fox has scheduled two-hour So You Think You Can Dance sixth-season performance episodes to air in the Tuesdays at 8PM ET/PT timeslot — which will presumably overlap with Dancing with the Stars ninth-season results show broadcasts, assuming ABC keeps the show in its long-running Tuesdays at 9PM ET/PT timeslot this fall.

So You Think You Can Dance sixth-season results shows will then air in the Wednesdays at 8PM ET/PT and serve as the lead-in for Glee, a new scripted musical comedy.

The fifth season is slated to debut May 21! I cannot wait!!!!! Last season, two hip-hop street dancers with hardly any formal training took home the top two spots. I wonder who will bring the heat this year… I don’t have to wait long!!!!!

Our favorite redhead on Sex in the City is getting married!  Cynthia Nixon has been with her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni now finace since 2003 and now they are planning their wedding.

“There is a ring. There’s a beautiful ring,” Cynthia gushes. Christine doesn’t have one yet, as Cynthia explains, “She will have a wedding ring but she does not want an engagement ring.”

“We’re hoping to do it in New York. We’re not going to wait forever, but we’re hoping it’s just around the corner,” she says. “Sometime I think before the end of next summer, but we don’t have a date.”

This is going to make Cynthia a very busy bride to be!  With a wedding to plan and a sequel to Sex in the City, she’s going to have a very full plate!  Congrats to the happy couple!

The Middle East is getting it’s widest movie release ever with Terminator Salvation this week. 

Middle East auds are getting ready for the ultimate man vs. machine showdown. “Terminator Salvation” is getting the widest-ever release for a pic in the region with an unprecedented 76-print day-and-date bow May 21 across the entire Arab world.

Distrib Gulf Film will also be holding 24-hour screenings of the fourth installment of the cyborg franchise, which stars Christian Bale and Sam Worthington and is directed by McG, in its Grand Cineplex theater in Dubai.

Widest opening in the middle east and it’s about a WAR between robots and humans. I wonder how much money the movie will make there?

Oh oh oh!  Renee Zellweger chose an absolutely stunning dress for the 69th Annual American Ballet Spring Gala in New York.   I love how such a simple dress can be made so very special by gathering the skirt with a rhinestone brooch.  Hooray – glamorous is back!  Brava, Renee!

(But I have to ask… why does that blonde woman behind her look like she just ate something bad?)

InStyle’s latest issue is the Sexy Issue, and the magazine got celebrities to dish about what they find sexy.  Chace Crawford had some interesting things to say.

What food do you find sexy?

“There’s nothing sexier than a Big Mac. I don’t eat a lot of them, but it’s just a whole complete package.”

What kind of woman is sexy to you?

“Someone confident but not arrogant or entitled, without an air of desperation…I’m attracted to girls that are a little more spontaneous.”

What clothes make you feel especially sexy?

“A nice, tailored suit will make you feel like a million dollars…Calvin Klein suits are classic and simple and that’s cool. Dolce & Gabbana and D&G as well.”

A BIG MAC?  Sexy?  Now I have heard everything.  I wonder if Chace puts on his Calvin Klein suit to go to McDonald’s and eat a burger.  And does he meet confident, spontaneous women there?
