Melissa Rycroft was offered a Playboy deal worth half a million dollars, but the good ole’ southern girl turned it down. Here’s what Mel had to say about it:

“My father would kill me! Not only would I never do it, my father would never look at me the same ever again!”

While many men will be disappointed with her decision, she doesn’t really need that kind of attention when she has sort of become America’s sweetheart overnight. Besides, she’s already made Maxim’s Hot 100 without ever having to take it off. Good for you, girl!

Jordana Brewster‘s husband, Adam Form, likes it when she wears skimpy outfits at home alone but tries to encourage her to cover up when they have company over.

She said: “My mom always tells me that being sexy is all about attitude. She’s very confident and probably has more Gisele Bundchen in her than I do. Brazilian women are proud of their bodies – I’m more reserved, but I try. At home I only wear Brazilian bikinis. When people are coming over, I’ll ask my husband if the bikini is appropriate, and he’ll say, ‘Well, not really.’ It’s true – they really don’t cover your whole a*s. But then again, I think they’re more flattering.”

I couldn’t imagine how her husband could ask her to cover up. She is so beautiful and I would want to show her off every moment I had!

Adrien Brody was spotted going into the Staples Center in Los Angeles today to watch a game of basketball. It seems like everyone was at that game.

While researching Adrien today I found out something that would have totally changed the world as we know it. Adrien was originally up for the role of The Joker in The Dark Knight. If that would have happened that movie would have been really different. I can’t see him as The Joker at all.

Adrien was asked if he was disappointed that he didn’t get the role, and this is what he said…

Yeah, sure I was. But you know, Heath did a tremendous job. I am happy that he excelled so much in that film. Heath was a friend of mine, so when I watch the film I don’t think about losing a role, I think about losing him. To sit there and watch such phenomenal work and have it be done by such a bright young person makes me actually quite depressed. I am way past any personal feelings (about not being cast).

Heath Ledger went on to win the posthumous Oscar for that role. Heath was amazing in that role.

Rachel Weisz looked stunning at the Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of Agora. I would love to be at Cannes. Everyone seems so beautiful there.

Rachel admitted last night at the premiere that she was confident enough with her body to do the nude scenes and not use a body double. She is appearing nude in two scenes…

‘It was all me, never even thought of using a double. Although I was thinking about baby fat – but I think most of it had gone by the time I went before the cameras.’

Rachel is mom to Henry, 2 years old. I think she looks beautiful. All her hard work paid off for sure.

Farrah Fawcett is the star in what was first intended to be a private video diary of her struggle with cancer but instead turned into a documentary. “Farrah’s Story” was watched by an estimated number of 8.9 million viewers, according to NBC.

“I do not want to die of this disease. So I say to God, ‘It is seriously time for a miracle,’” Fawcett says.

Farrah hopes her story can inspire others. Actor Ryan O’Neal has accompanied the 62 year-old actress through her daily battle and she is not ready to give up just yet.

I have heard alot about Tara Reid in Cannes. She has been drinking and partying with the best of them. But here it looks like she is happy and not hung over. Unless, she’s a really good actress and hiding it really good. Okay, I’m not buying the good actress part either.

I have to comment on her dress. It looks like an oversized shower curtain that she put on and then threw a belt on. I don’t claim that I am a true fashionista but I do know that maybe she should have found something that was better suited to her.

I love this new softer side of Christina Aguilera for Stephen Webster. I think he made the right choice with Christina for sure. She needs to realize that she doesn’t need a ton of makeup to look so amazing.

Christina recently confessed that her son, Max, loves housework…

“Vacuum was one of his first words! He has a cleaning fetish and he loves to run around with a rag and dust and clean, and he loves to clean his high chair after he’s done eating. It’s so cute! I’ll lift him down and the first thing he does is to take a rag and clean off his chair. He’s mommy’s little helper.”

I bet that any woman will be happy to have Max around if he keeps that habit!

Tonight’s the night.  The ladies of Wisteria Lane will take a break for the summer and we will look forward to next season.  Are you ready for the 2 hour season finale of Desperate Housewives?  I am, but then again.  I don’t want another one of my shows to be on break !  Oh well, it’s the summer time blues I suppose.
