I am beyond anxious for Sunday’s 2 hour finale of the best show on TV, 24.  I am very bummed that I won’t have it to look forward to every week, but I am dying to see how this season will end.

Well, TV Guide has got some major juice on season 8 for us and if you don’t want to know anything till next season….don’t read any further!

Here’s what we know about the show’s eighth, and perhaps final season. A year-and-a-half to two years will have elapsed since the end of Season 7, with the action moving from the White House to the U.N. building in New York City. Cherry Jones is back as President Allison Taylor. “I don’t think they know quite what to do with me yet,” says Jones. “At first I heard they needed me for only a couple episodes, but I do seem now to have a little bit more to do.” Cherry says the new season will expand beyond an American threat to a global concern. “It has to deal more with the state of the world—not just the state of us,” she says.

“Slumdog Millionaire” star Anil Kapoor plays the head of a foreign country, which enters into a peace agreement with President Taylor, but assassins plan to bring Kapoor’s character down before the treaty can be signed. “It’s a call back to the very first season when the very charismatic president David Palmer has to be saved for the greater good,” teases executive producer Howard Gordon, who plans to shoot 7 to 10 days on the streets of New York City and construct U.N. sets in L.A. “The eighth day is the culmination of all Jack has had to do—good bad and otherwise. When he’s finally enlisted to help protect the peace, he’s preserving something that is very personal to him.”

Producers are undecided at this time if the president’s estranged husband and daughter will return. “Both family members are waiting to hear how they might be employed,” says Jones. But one person who will be back is Renee Walker. Annie Wershing says something from Renee’s past comes back to haunt her and directly involves her in the U.N. crisis.

President Taylor has reconstituted CTU, but the organization is now more budget-conscious. “There is a new head of CTU named Brian Hastings, who is extremely smart and very possessive,” says Gordon of the yet-to-be-cast role. “He’s a little blinded by his possessiveness.” This will lead to conflicts with both Jack and Chloe, who will find herself in danger of losing her job. “That’s going to be trouble for me,” says Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe). “She had a special place for Bill Buchanan, so I see some bashing heads with authority.”

Are you guys ready for some more vampires, blood, and plenty of seduction?  Well, we are almost there!  June 14th True Blood is back with a new season on HBO and we’ve got a nice look ahead.  If you want to be in total suspense, then don’t read on!

June 14: “Nothing But the Blood”
A shocking murder outside Merlotte’s has Bon Temps reeling. Meanwhile, Sookie’s (Anna Paquin) relationship with Bill (Stephen Moyer) is tested when she learns about Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), and of his involvement in her uncle’s death. Sam (Sam Trammell) recalls a shape-shifting encounter he had with Maryann (Michelle Forbes) as a 17-year-old. Jason (Ryan Kwanten) gets a sudden windfall that allows him to pay for a leadership retreat with the Fellowship of the Sun. Two adversaries find themselves sharing a mysterious dungeon and, possibly, the same fate.

June 21: “Keep This Party Going”
Sookie is forced to cope with Bill’s obligations to Jessica, as well as the romantic inconveniences the teen vampire’s presence creates. At the Light of Day leadership conference, Jason makes a favorable impression on its ambitious leaders, Steve (Michael McMillian) and Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp), though not on his jealous roommate Luke (Wes Brown). Maryann casts her spell on Merlotte’s patrons, and Sam proves helpless to stop the revelry.

June 28: “Scratches”
When Sookie is attacked by a mysterious creature, Bill must enlist Eric’s (Alexander Skarsgård) help to save her. At the Light of Day retreat, Jason has second thoughts about the sect’s anti-vampire agenda, but Sarah and Steve counter his doubts with flattery and promises. After snapping at Tara (Rutina Wesley) and new employee Daphne (Ashley Jones), Sam decides to cut and run. A bored Jessica heads over to Merlotte’s, where a smitten Hoyt (Jim Parrack) falls under her spell. At another Maryann-hosted party, Tara finds her attraction to Eggs (Mehcad Brooks) interrupted by a swirling, aphrodisiac fog.

Sounds very intense and well…um, bloody!

Lacey Schwimmer showed up to Maxim’s 10th Annual Hot 100 Party yesterday sporting the same bronze pleated dress that Audrina Patridge wore to ShoWest Awards early last month. They have very different styles and bodies, so they wore the dress in very different (yet very hot) ways.

The Hills star Audrina had swept back hair, highlighting her beautiful shoulders and enormous fake boobs. Dancing with the Stars professional Lacey’s hair was wavy and a little wilder, but her dancer body looked smokin’ hot.

To be honest, when Audrina wore that dress I thought she filled it out perfectly and looked stunning and… gasp… sophisticated. But now seeing Lacey in it, I really prefer her all around look.

Clay Aiken was taking a little time off from daddy duty and spent it with a hot guy.  This perhaps new couple were out walking, enjoying the sunshine. Do you think this duo is an actual couple or could they just be friends?  Maybe this is a case of, any guy we see Clay Aiken with, we will assume is his latest boyfriend….?

Have you seen Clay’s son lately?  He is adorable and looks just like his daddy!

One of my new favorite celebrities is Neil Patrick Harris, and really only because he makes me laugh so hard in the interviews I see of him. And now today it was announced that he is hosting the Tony Awards on Sunday, June 7, live from NYC’s Radio City Music Hall.

He says it’s because of his love for live theatre. I can see his point n that one because I loved being in and seeing plays.

“The discipline of live theatre — doing the same perfect thing night after night, eight times a week — never ceases to amaze me. I’m truly honored to have been chosen as the Master of Ceremonies for this year’s Tony Awards, and I hope to help provide a first-class evening for all.”

I know I want to watch the award ceremony now that I know he is hosting. I bet he would be a bundle of fun to have around parties too.

Is it just me or are extremely anxious for The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien to get going?  I am going through serious withdrawals.  I need my Conan fix!

This has helped me a little……a look inside the set at Universal Studios.  It’s still under construction but, I think it’s looking fab!  It’s twice as big as Conan’s old stage.  The doorway is 25 feet high, so I am thinking we are goign to see all sorts of ‘things’ coming through it.

Conan’s sidekick, Andy Richter is pretty pumped as well…..

“It kind of evokes Art Deco,” Richter says, being momentarily serious, “and what I like about it is it reminds people a little bit of Rockefeller Center. For me, it’s almost a subliminal ramping up and acknowledgment of the history of The Tonight Show. Also red hair looks nice against blue. So there’s a lot of blue.”

Conan will be back in action on June 1st!  I can’t wait!!

Wanda Sykes and her wife, Alex are proud new mommies.  Alex gave birth to their twins and they got one of each!  It’s pink and blue!  Fun!  The babies were a nice, healthy size for twins….. Olivia Lou at 6lbs 7oz and Lucas Claude at 7lbs 9oz.  Everyone is happy and healthy, not to mention will be very busy for the next million years!

Congrats to the whole family!  Good luck in the sleep department!!

I’m not usually into pink things. I’m more of a blue/green person but this car is hot. Paris Hilton got a custom job done by West Coast Customs.

Besides the traffic-stopping hue, the convertible received a renovation that included a fabulous sound system. And the crew didn’t hold back on small details, from the jewel-encrusted Bentley wings on the hood to the matching oversized wheels — both with Hilton’s PH initials festooned on each.

I think that the PH intials were a great touch. You can never have enough bling. Paris and her new Bentley will appear on TLC’s Street Customs, airing Thursday @ 10 PM ET. I might just have to check that one out!

Mandy Moore is reserving her nudity for her husband, Ryan Adams,  because she says she can’t handle the thought of people oogling her naked. She says she has fought directors over this but says if it’s absolutely necessary she would do it.

“Right now, that’s something that is off limits. I’d never say never because some things are absolutely necessary. I feel oftentimes I’ve been attached to a film and then, at the last second, someone has said, like, ‘OK, well this is an absolute necessity – this scene requires nudity and there’s no two ways around it.

“I’m like, ‘I really believe there’s so much of that which could be implied and it’s just gratuitous.’ I’m not comfortable within my own skin. That side of myself is reserved for my personal life and I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking down the street knowing, like… it’s perfectly logical to believe that any random person walking down the street has the ability to see me with my clothes off.”

There is many ways that I am sure that directors could imply that she was naked. But I think as an actress you should be open to things like that. I wish sometimes it would be like it is over in Europe where they aren’t so hung up on those sorts of things.

Though the new Bachelorette season premieres this Monday, filming for the season hasn’t wrapped, leaving it’s star Jillian Harris rather tight-lipped. However, she did reveal a little about her journey in a recent interview. Here’s what she had to say:

“I can’t tell you whether it would end in marriage.  But all of the people that I have left are remarkable people and I have not met anybody like these guys,” said Harris. “It’s so difficult to know how to choose the right person in the end. And as you know I have not chosen that person yet, so I’m still struggling with that decision.” …”They’re all very different,” she said.  “And they all make me feel differently, but I can tell you that they are wonderful guys, and I think I’ve made some really, really great choices.”

And what does she think about the fact that none of the guys are Canadian?

“I didn’t know there was not going to be any. But when they all came out the first night, it was one of the first things that I thought. And then I sort of thought to myself, ‘Okay what if there were three or four Canadian guys. What are the chances that one of those guys would be the one that I choose?’” she explained to reporters.

“When I put it into perspective and I sort of thought, ‘I am a Canadian. I am a very proud Canadian.’ But I’ve learned a lot that there’s not a huge difference between American guys and Canadian guy so I’m okay with that.”

I can’t decide if this season will be worth watching or not. This is bascilly a third generation Deanna Pappas show- she rejected Jason Mesnick, who rejected Jill who is now the Bachelorette. Why didn’t they pick a normal girl whose never had a chance like this before? She’s not even hot. Geesh.
