Judge favorite Teyona Anderson was named America’s Next Top Model on last night’s cycle 12 finale episode, beating out New Orleans native Allison Harvard. The twenty year old Jersey girl has quit her job at a bank to now further pursue her modeling career (those contracts with Elite Model Management and Cover Girl should help a lot). Here’s what she had to say following the news:

“I come from the little country streets of Woodstown, New Jersey, growing up in the cornfields, playing in the woods with boys, to being America’s Next Top Model!”…”I’ve wanted to do this so long, I just wanted to model…That’s what I want to do, it’s my passion…To win, and my hard work actually paid off…It’s amazing… “I’m so proud of myself, it’s ridiculous…like, is this for real?!’”

Along with the above contracts, Teyona won a six page spread and cover of Seventeen magazine along with $100,000. Congratulations and best of luck to her!

Rodeo star Ty Murray and his professional partner Chelsie Hightower were eliminated on Tuesday’s episode of Dancing with the Stars, but Ty wasn’t sad to leave the dancing and rhinestones behind. In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live following his departure, he revealed his true feelings about the show. Here are the highlights:

“That’s the good thing about a show that America votes you off… That way you know it was time for you to go and everything’s good.”

“It feels nice to get out of the rhinestones,” Murray told Kimmel.

And though one of the major reasons he did the show at all was to compete alongside his wife, Jewel, her injury and following withdrawal from the competition didn’t slow him down.

“My main reason for doing it was the publicity that it was able to give to the [Professional Bull Riders organization] and the sport of rodeo.  I think it’s great.  You don’t realize how big the show is — that 25 million people a week watch — until you’re a part of it.  I feel like it did bring some awareness.”

“You know it’s funny, my friends, they voted unanimously that I wouldn’t get passed the first show,” he said.  “They’ve seen me dance.”

Ty did a great job and was definitely the most improved of the course of the season. The three best are definitely in the finals, but it was awesome getting to watch him learn and be stretched. Plus, Chelsie’s cute as a button and super sweet. I’d take her over a half-naked Edyta any day!

Tahlia Brookins competed on this cycle of America’s Next Top Model and championed for burn victims all the while. Now the eighteen year old has revealed on The Tyra Banks Show that she is pregnant.

“I just so happen to be pregnant,” Brookins revealed during an appearance on Wednesday’s broadcast.  “My initial reaction to my pregnancy was shock.”

“I was told multiple times over and over that I couldn’t get pregnant just from my scars holding me back, other physical things going on with my body,” Brookins told Banks. “I was always told I was never going to be able to conceive children.”

“Once I got home, my boyfriend and I started having some complications. Shortly after that, we did break up because we both agreed that we had some stuff we needed to work on individually. So that is exactly what we are doing and still doing.”

But her boyfriend won’t let the break-up interfere with his parental responsibilities…

“When I first found out I was surprised and excited at the same time because members of my family since the moment they saw me and Tahlia together have told me that they know we are going to be together and have a family together,” Michaels told Us. “And, yes we have complications we are working through right now, but I know we will be able to get through it as a couple because we both still are in love.”

While I am happy they are going to work at being together for the kid, it breaks my heart when children have children. Thank God they aren’t terminating the pregnancy, but teenage parents just can’t do for babies what adult parents can. Our thoughts and prayers are with them all.

No wonder every C and D-list celebrity is fighting for a spot on Dancing with the Stars- that show has the power to revive completely dead careers (think Mario Lopez). Now the very little known Sex and the City actor Gilles Marini has landed a role on one of tv’s hottest shows, Brothers and Sisters.

“I’m going to work on ABC on Brothers & Sisters,” says the French actor. “It’s going to be very interesting. It’s going to be a like, ‘Oh, my God.’ It’s going to be great.”

Congrats to Gilles for the new gig! Getting a job in this economy is always a plus. I wonder what kind of role it will be- another sex object thing, or a true, deep character. We will have to wait and see!

Beauty company L’Oreal has named Evangeline Lilly and Freida Pinto as their new celebrity faces.

Lost actress Lilly says that she is excited to

“represent a brand whose ambition is to respond to every person’s aspirations to beauty.”

Slumdog Millionaire star Pinto is equally pleased:

“I am very moved to be joining the great L’Oreal Paris family and all these personalities: a family I am now proud to be a part of.”

It’s no surprise that L’Oreal would hire these two:  both of these women are gorgeous!   Congrats Evangeline and Freida!

Here’s the new poster and trailer for the upcoming film Blood: The Last Vampire.

I’ve seen the original animated film, this will be interesting to see in live action. This is certainly not a story for everyone, lots of demons, vampires and yes, blood.

A new film called Unbound Captives is set to star Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz and Robert Pattinson. 

Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz and Robert Pattinson will star in the period drama Unbound Captives, with Madeleine Stowe making her directorial debut from a script she wrote, reports Variety.

Gil Netter and Grant Hill will produce with Ashok Amritraj’s Hyde Park Entertainment. They are eyeing a year-end production start.

Amazing how Pattinson was little known last year at this time, now he’s headlining with stars like Jackman and Weisz.

A salon owner in St. Louis, Missouri discovered the script for the new film The Twilight Saga: New Moon in the garbage.

Casey Ray found the screenplay in the trash, along with another script for a movie entitled Memoirs in a trash bin while waiting for her boyfriend to finish work. 

Luckily for movie bosses, she turned the script in right away and didn’t leak the information to the press, or try to sell it. 

A representative for the studio says, “We thank Ms. Ray for doing the right thing.” 

Casey said she was hoping to keep the script as a collector’s item but movie bosses said they would make up for it by inviting her to the premieres of both movies. Can’t say no to that! 

The fact that the script was in the garbage will probably have a deeper meaning when people finally see the film.

Actors Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling are both set to star in a new film called Blue Valentine. 

Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams are set for the indie drama “Blue Valentine.” Filming is under way in New York and Pennsylvania.

Gosling and Williams play a couple whose marriage is failing. As their relationship hits the rocks, they recall better days. Derek Cianfrance, Cami Delavigne and Joey Curtispenned the script; Cianfrance directs.

The description doesn’t really have me jumping out of my seat, hopefully there is a better hook than that.
