This really doesn’t look like anything special, seems like a straight-to-cable type movie yet somehow it’s a summer release.

So what that Lauren Conrad is gone from The Hills, and therefore doesn’t have to be forced to face Heidi Montag? The producers still have to get drama for big ratings, right? Word on the street is that they are trying to hook up Justin Bobby (Audrina Patridge‘s d-bag ex) and new girl on the block, Kristen Cavallari. In the teasers for the season finale, they have K-Cav sit right next to JB after making a grande, late entrance into the Speidi wedding ceremony.
So what does Audrina think of the Laguna Beach blonde trying to steal her thunder? Well, given they got into a fight the very first say of filming, it’s not looking good.
“I don’t like her,” Patridge said on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show. “When someone gets in my face, I have to defend myself … I can’t say much. They’ll show it, but I mean, all I have to say is, it’s really pathetic and desperate what people will do when the cameras are around.”
“It was my birthday, and I was just like, Oh, my God. Is this what we’re going to have to deal with?’” Audrina Patridge recalled on the radio show.
As for her rumored (and LC confirmed) relationship with Star Trek hottie, Chris Pine?
“There’s always speculation of anyone I hang out with or anything I do,” she coyly said. “From Justin-Bobby, I think any guy is an upgrade. I’ve learned so much since that relationship.”
Ouch… I guess this Kristen thing is why they are keeping Justin around on The Hills. No one likes him, but they can create drama around him= ratings= MTV is happy.

Kelly Bensimon is the newest ego-maniac girl on The Real Housewives of New York block, and though she faced a lot of scrutiny and fighting with the other women last season, she wants to return to the show.
“I think it would be really fun to come back for another season,” she said. “I really enjoyed all the women — I think they’re all so unique. I really enjoyed spending time with them and getting to know them.”
“I had a really great time doing it, and it’s just another adventure,” she added of her time on the show. “Life is an adventure. You have two choices — you can sit or you can be in it. I like to be in it.”
Kelly added that her favorite moments on the show were those that included her daughters.
“I was just so proud as a mother to see my children on television,” she said. “I was so impressed that they were so poised and that they handled themselves so well. They weren’t intimidated by the process, and they really enjoyed it.”
I wish she (and most of those other snobs) would stay away from my television set. I am sick to death of their snootiness. Yes, they do “charity work”, but they do it for attention and notarity, not to really benefit others. We are in the RECESSION! How about we chroncile the lives of real people who have faced hardship and overcome it? That would make for good tv.
And why aren’t these “housewives” berated in the media for “exploiting” and neglecting their children like Kate Gosselin is? They travel, spend days away from their kids, ship them off to boarding school, have nannies and housekeepers that care for them… What’s the difference?

One of summer’s guiltiest pleasures is back! CBS will debut season Big Brother 11 on Thursday, July 9.
After the premiere episode, the show will return to it’s three-times a week schedule, airing on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. Julie Chen (though she will be six months pregnant when filming begins) will continue as the host.
I love this show. It’s so trashy and silly, but it’s a great little summer getaway from the stress of scripted dramas of the regular season.

As if men needed any more reason to tune into ESPN, sideline correspondent and hottie Erin Andrews further draws them in. Now it seems that she might be drawing them to Dancing with the Stars soon, too!
“I want to do it, because I think I’d be good at it,” Andrews told The Sporting News. “I love the show, and I’ve grown up around dancing… I think I’d be in the top, unless I fall. I’m a big faller. If you fall, that’s a hard fall, which I’m sure would make the Internet very happy.”
A much less hot ESPN personality Keny Mayne did the show a few years ago. What does Erin have to say about that?
“I love Kenny Mayne very much, he’s a friend of mine,” Andrews said. “But I need to help ESPN’s name on Dancing With the Stars. He did nothing for us on that show.”
I would love to see Erin trying out ‘Dancing.’ She is beautiful, so it would be great to see if she can actually move!

The beautiful Adam Lambert is expected to announce that he is, in fact, gay in an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone. And just a couple days ago he encouraged all of us to “keep speculating” about his sexuality… But apparently Kara DioGuardi wanted to steal his thunder and beat him to the punch.
“I don’t think that Adam was ever in [the closet],” she says in a taped interview airing Friday on ABC’s The View. “I think he was always openly out.”
Walters then asked again if Lambert — who has never publicly said he’s gay — “was always openly out.”
“I think he was,” DioGuardi replies. “I mean, from what I’ve seen … I do. I never thought he wasn’t.”
Ok, so is Adam in or out of the closet? Who really cares?! It’s obvious that he’s gay and he hasn’t really tried to hide it. Hopefully he embraces it soon publicly and just runs with it one way or the other.

The world is full of technology. Everyone carries around a cell phone and are always texting and talking on it. I used to not have a cell phone, but now I can’t live without it.
Christian Bale doesn’t have a cell phone. He’s amazing! Co-star Bryce Dallas Howard tells all about it..
“He barely has a cell phone. He’s not one of those flamboyant actors that need a lot of people helping him. He and his wife don’t have a nanny. They live in a one-bedroom house. They’re very low-maintenance, low-key, real people.”
It’s so neat to hear when fame hasn’t effected people at all. Christian went on to say how his life hasn’t changed much since becoming a celebrity.
“I do exactly the same as I’ve always done. I don’t have an assistant. I don’t drive a flashy car. I do everything myself. I go to the supermarket myself, the hardware store. It’s something I would greatly miss because I would start to feel like a prisoner.”
I don’t blame him. I would want my life to be as normal as it could be too.

I have to say that I never thought I would ever be able to write about Archie comics. But since Archie Andrews is finally getting settled down with Veronica in a six part series of the future I had to write about it.
When I was a kid I couldn’t stop reading Archie comics they always made me laugh. And now I see that he picked money over sweetness. But running with the theme I bet it won’t turn as sweet as if he chose Betty.
Issue #600 hits comic book stores in August.
“What would lead Archie to have marriage on his mind? And who would he choose, Veronica or Betty? How will Betty react? How will Veronica react? Can Archie shake off his klutzy past and hold down a steady job . . . for more than a month? One thing is certain: This will be the biggest Archie Comics story ever!” a solicitation for the comic says.
