Universal pictures is developing a movie based on the kids book series Where’s Waldo.

The studio has picked up the movie rights to the popular children’s books series from Classic Media with the aim of making a live-action family film to be produced by Chris Meledandri’s Illumination Entertainment. 

The idea well is definitely low, another strange choice for development. The books don’t even have stories so hopefully they can come up with something fresh. Who do you think would be a good casting choice for the live action version of Waldo?
