Apparently Courtney Cox and David Arquette are likely to return for the next Scream movie. 

But according to EW, Williamson has approached Courteney Cox and her husband David Arquette. No deals have been signed yet, and both sides are reportedly trying to work around Courteney’s new shooting schedule for her show Cougar Town. 

Re-boot or sequel this franchise should stay dead. It’s sad that hollywood is so hard-up for new stories. In 10 years will they just be remaking all these movies again? My bet is yes.
