‘Short Circuit’ Remake in the Works
There’s yet another remake on it’s way this time its from the 80s film Short Circuit.
Original screenwriters S.S. Wilson and Brent Maddock have been hired to write the remake, so that gives us a little bit of hope. They hope to keep the original plot line of the military robot who runs away from the government after developing a conscience and personality after being struck by lightning.
Most of these remakes are getting to be ridiculous. I like the original Short Circuit and in this case I think a remake is actually a good idea. The technology of today makes for a whole new world of possibilities with the same story structure intact.
