Cher’s Daughter, Chastity Bono Having Sex Change Operation To Become A Man
Yep. It’s true. It’s a wee bit mind boggling to me. But, Cher and Sonny Bono’s daughter, Chastity is going to be an ‘official male’ after the sex change procedure is complete. He started the procedure after his 40th birthday earlier this year. So, the process is underway.
“Yes, it’s true — Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity,” confirmed Bono’s publicist, Howard Bragman.
“He is proud of his decision and grateful for the support and respect that has already been shown by his loved ones. It is Chaz’s hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his ‘coming out’ did nearly 20 years ago.
This is going to be pretty major. I can’t imagine the recovery time this will entail. But, wow…..Drop your thoughts below……

Sorry, Chastity, or whatever she wants to call herself, looks rough now. I do not see how she is being true to herself. Years ago a neighbour of mine who’s father was abusive turned to men so to be accepted by one. He was alaways abused as a young lad. It had everything to do with the emotional psychological aspect, and in his mind he was drwan to men for acceptance as his father never accepted him. He becamse consumed by it. No matter what he did he never seemed to get the love or acceptance he was craving and he ended up a mess. Rather than try to work through the problems, being honest with himself and others which includes being respectful - he decided to explore gay sex and thought of himself as a woman . Additonally, he liked the shock factor which brought the attention he so craved. Unfortunately, he was miserable to the day he died, and admitted he could have avoided a lot of problems if he’d addressed issues with his father and mother as both of them created the hostile and needy environment that made him decide to venture into young men and develop aids. To me, this sex change of Chastity’s has more to do with being a rebel, looking for attention and acceptance in other ways as well as being adventurous.
Chastity, or whatever she wants to call herself, looks awful now IMO, has put on all kinds of weight and in general looks unhealthy since this “sex change”. If this is supposed to make her happy and feel better about herself she certainly looks worse than she’s ever looked, whether you want to consider her female or male. Unfortunate.
