Tallulah Willis Is Getting Her Name LEGALLY Changed!

Lula Willis

I guess at the ripe, young age of 15 Miss Tallulah Willis knows that she doesn’t like her name and is getting it legally changed to Lula.  Isn’t that a bit extreme?  Lula seems like an easy enough name to go by.  Kind of like Jen for Jennifer.  It’s king of like a slap in the face to her parents Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, they don’t know how to name the kids properly…..LOL

Aside from that, the new Lula will be interning at Harper’s Bazaar in the fashion department.  So yes folks, a 15 year old will be influencing the future of fashion.  Go get ‘em tiger!

If she wants to be recognized by another name, that is her right, once she turns 18. My birth name was the same as my father’s name, with a II suffix. But he had and still has a very bad reputation, and I legally changed my name as soon as I could to separate myself from that.

My mom knew a kid in school (this was a GUY) whose parents had named him Joyce – this was back in the 1950s of course, and EVERYBODY maked innuendoes about it. Then his parents felt hurt when he legally changed his name to George. But what about how hurt he felt about having to be called a girl’s name for the first 18 years of his life?

You have to be yourself. If that means assuming a name that is more suitable to yourself (in YOUR opinion, not anybody else’s), so be it.

Personally, if my future children decide they don’t like the names they were given, I will not only support their decision to have it changed, but I will be happy to pay the court costs.
