Melissa Rycroft should be calling Jason Mesnick everyday to thank him for dumping her on The Bachelor. Not only did she land a gig on Dancing with the Stars that catapulted her star-status, she has now taken a job with Good Morning America. It does not suck to be Melissa Rycroft.

With a gorgeous smile and positive attitude, it’s easy to see Rycroft fitting in well with this role. Look for her to appear on the talk show eight times this summer, “bringing lighthearted, uplifting and fun stories to GMA,” said a source.

Melissa has said over and over agian she was looking forward to settling back into her normal Texas life after the shows, so I’m hoping these are just special assignments she will get sent on and she’s not trying to make a career in Hollywood. We love you, girl, but your fifteen minutes are up!
