Chris Brown Pleads Guilty Gets Probation
I have been steaming about the results to the Chris Brown case. So I thought I’d let it settle for the night before I tried to write about it.
Chris was in court yesterday and by taking the plea deal that he did, he avoided the four year jail sentence and trail. He pleaded guilty in assaulting Rihanna back in February. He was sentenced to 5 years probation, 180 days of community service in Virginia, and a promise to stay 100 yards away from Rihanna.
I think that he got of almost free for what he did to Rihanna. I think that this shows that even if you were in the wrong because obviously he was since he pleaded guilty that you won’t get the punishment you deserve. I guess this way he can try to get his life back on track and get straightened out.
I think the All American Rejects singer Nick Wheeler said it best last night at the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen premiere.
“If it was just a regular dude, would [the sentence] have been the same? No one should turn a blind eye to [abuse]. He should get what he gets.”

First it’s 50 yards away. Second, I think we are taking this way more serious than they do. I mean the girl said she doesnt even want the stay away order s it will likely be removed in August at sentencing. Why keep taking up and feeling sorry with a girl who still wants him around? Some people say its love but I feel theres a lot more to the story that we dont know. Does that excuse him from hitting her? No but at the same time we shouldnt come down so hard on a 19 year old kid.
Chris nrown made a mistake no one is perfect…its in de past now….we live & we learn so im glad that its in de past & hes making his music…i so love tha song called “deceus” its a good song & a good video….
