She may be smokin’ hot, but Kim Kardashian knows nothing about the modeling industry. Oh well, that won’t stop Tyra Banks from exploiting her popularity by bringing her on America’s Next Top Model as a guest judge.

Here’s what Kim had to say about her time filming the show:

Recently I was a guest judge on America’s Next Top Model for an episode that will air next season! Wow, this cycle is pretty amazing! It’s definitely my favorite so far! Can’t give away any details but you guys have to tune in for sure! It was such an honor to be a guest judge! I have watched this show for years and am such a huge Tyra Banks fan! She is such a smart business woman and such a role model! Love ya Tyra!

I guess this is her favorite season because it’s for short girls of all shapes and sizes. Kind of gives normal American women hope… but then it smashes it when we realize you can’t make it in the modeling world if you’re short and curvy. Sorry.

Nick Cannon is excited about making babies with wife of 14 months, Mariah Carey. The new host of America’s Got Talent recently spoke about the kind of daddy he wants to be, and when the baby-making will happen.

“I want to be a father that’s all about love,” Cannon said. “That’s the main thing to get right and at the end of the day it’s just about smothering my children with love. The same way I do to my wife!”

“We had our first year and enjoyed it. This year for us is about establishing everything and creating a household,” he says. “So when we do welcome a child, it will be in a very comfortable established home. So we are working on that and once this year calms down, then we’ll probably start taking about it more seriously. That’s a priority, and it’s not just a quick decision.”

I love these two together, and I hope they make it for the long haul. But Mariah’s 40 years old… The years of carrying a baby are slipping away, so they better get to it!

By now everyone knows that Jon and Kate Gosselin have filed for divorce. Now the network says that their show- Jon & Kate Plus 8- will be on a hiatus until August 3. Next Monday’s episode will be a compilation of un-aired footage from the season.

Though the network doubled the number of episodes this season from 20 to 40, only six have aired. Because of the marriage problems, TLC doesn’t have enough footage to complete any more episodes. Many this season were filmed last minute and finished on the day of airing.

In statements regarding the divorce, here’s that they had to say:

“Over the course of this weekend, Jon’s activities have left me no choice but to file legal procedures in order to protect myself and our children,” Kate said in a statement Monday night. “While there are reasons why it was appropriate and necessary for me to initiate this proceeding, I do not wish to discuss those reasons at this time, in the hope that all issues will be resolved amicably between Jon and myself. As always, my first priority remains our children.”

Jon released a statement of his own, claiming his wife was the first to make a legal move. “This afternoon, Kate filed for divorce. Our kids are still my number one priority. I love them and want to make sure they stay happy, healthy and safe. My job is being the best, most supportive and loving father that I can be to my kids, and not being married to Kate doesn’t change that.”

Right, Jon. Good daddies always go cheat on their families with 23 year old hussies. Way to go.

I have been steaming about the results to the Chris Brown case. So I thought I’d let it settle for the night before I tried to write about it.

Chris was in court yesterday and by taking the plea deal that he did, he avoided the four year jail sentence and trail. He pleaded guilty in assaulting Rihanna back in February. He was sentenced to 5 years probation, 180 days of community service in Virginia, and a promise to stay 100 yards away from Rihanna.

I think that he got of almost free for what he did to Rihanna. I think that this shows that even if you were in the wrong because obviously he was since he pleaded guilty that you won’t get the punishment you deserve. I guess this way he can try to get his life back on track and get straightened out.

I think the All American Rejects singer Nick Wheeler said it best last night at the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen premiere.

“If it was just a regular dude, would [the sentence] have been the same? No one should turn a blind eye to [abuse]. He should get what he gets.”

Sad news this morning.  Ed McMahon has died.  He passed this morning at the UCLA Medical Center in California as he lost his battle with cancer and several other health issues.

Someone connected with the family told us, “Ed was at peace because he got his business taken care of. He settled his lawsuit with Cedars and with the settlement he was able to take care of his family.”

Ed hosted “Star Search” and “TV Bloopers And Practical Jokes
” with Dick Clark as well as being Johnny Carson’s sidekick. We saw him more recently in those Cash 4 Gold commercials.

He also had his share of military service as a colonel in the United States Marines and a fighter pilot. He served during the late 1940s and 1950s.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this time.  Ed was a true calss act.

Emma Watson looks so grown-up on the August 2009 cover of Teen Vogue. She’s come along way from those first Harry Potter movies and is becoming quite the sophisticated lady. In the issue she talks about her on-screen romance and her decision to go to college. Here are the highlights:

On her on-screen romance with Rupert Grint in Harry Potter: “At the beginning, it looks like they’re on their way to finally being together, but of course Ron screws it up. So she’s jealous, and doesn’t quite realize it, and they have all these arguments.”

On the decision to attend college: :”I’ve been saying that I wanted to go to university since I was eleven, so if they didn’t let me, I’d be pretty upset. I just want to keep it private [my university choice] for as long as I can. I probably sound like a paranoid nut, but I’m doing this because I want to be normal. I really want anonymity. I want to do it properly, like everyone else. As long as I don’t walk in, and see, like, Harry Potter posters everywhere, I’ll be fine.”

On boyfriend Jay Barrymore: “The only reason it’s ‘on/off’ is because the papers make up so much rubbish!”

Very cool visual effects, it’s interesting how much people have interest in the concept of the end of our civilization. Admittedly the 2012 theories are intriguing to say the least, but this movie is another clear example of visuals over content.
