Chanel Iman has strolled down many a catwalk in her short time modelling, but now the newest darling of the fashion scene is spending some time in the background at Teen Vogue magazine. The latest high profile intern is having a blast and tweeting about her time in the closets!

‘U will never guess what I’ve been doing for the last couple of hours. Havin a blast interning at Teen Vogue!!Setup there [sic.] closet like its mine’.

Iman is truly a beautiful young woman and must be having a great time. How interesting that Teen Vogue is becoming such a hip place to work for free and launch your career (Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port…)

The fashion design company William Rast, owned in part by superstar Justin Timberlake finally made it to London’s Selfridges for the fashionable brit. First introduced in 2005, Timberlake, his best friend Trace Ayala and the Swedish design team Marcella and Johan Lindeberg have been very successful with their signature embroidered ‘v’ look in denim. Ginger Spice is attempting to follow in Posh Spice’s stiletto heels by working with UK chain Topshop and develop a line of clothing all her own. Geri Halliwell has been spotted taking a meeting with Sir Phillip Green, mogul and head honcho of Arcadia, owners of the Topshop stores. Could be interesting to see her designs and how they’d compare to Victoria Beckham.

Miley Cyrus isn’t one to hold back on her beauty secrets.  Some girls out there want to keep it to themselves if they have a skin problem at all.  Not Miley, she confesses her struggle with acne via her Twitter page and tells the world what worked for her.

The latest on ‘24‘ season 8 is kind of huge if you’re a fan of Jon Cassar (one of the directors).  Jon has moved on from ’24′ to direct a feature film.

I am not worried.  I know that the show is strong and will do fine with any director.

Plus, I am thrilled to find out that episodes 1 & 2 have already been filmed.  Yay!  How about a sneak peek, huh?  I would die for one!

Snarky lead judge for Dancing with the Stars- Len Goodman- has revealed his recent battle with prostate cancer. He had surgery last month to remove a cancerous tumor in his prostate gland.

“I’ve had the surgery now. Everything’s gorgeously good,” Goodman told The Mail.  “I’ll be back in September for sure.”

He said the cancer was discovered in March in the midst of filming Dancing, but waited until the season wrapped to have the surgery performed.

“I could have said sorry and not done the show, but the doctors felt I wasn’t riddled with it and it wasn’t so far advanced that it was a life-or-death scenario,” he told The Mail. “It takes a few weeks to get everything set up for the operation anyway, so I went ahead and did the show. I had the surgery done as soon as I got back from America.”

Now Goodman has taken it upon himself to advocate middle-aged men getting regularly tested. They found the cancer early enough in him that it was treatable and he should be fine, and he wants that for others.

“As long as you get checked up every year, then medicine is such now that if you do get something, then hopefully they can catch it early and you have a good chance,” he told The Mail. “I think that’s the most important thing — men of a certain age should have their check-up every year.”

We are so happy to make this a happy report and that Len is recovering well and doing fine. Obviously, early detection is so important in these situations. We wish him the speediest of recoveries!!

Former American Idol finalist Syesha Mercado has landed the role of Denna Jones in the national tour of Dreamgirls. The revival is slated to begin November 7 at New York’s Apollo Theatre and then stop in Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Chicago, Boston, Columbus, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Costa Mesa, Cincinnati and Philadelphia.

Mercado finished third during Idol’s seventh season last spring, and after her ouster she made it clear that acting onstage was something she’d be interested in… “I want to make an album.  I want to star in a film.  I want to do Broadway.  I want to open up an organic restaurant, and like a lupus foundation, homeless foundation,” she told reporters in May 2008.

Syesha is amazingly talented and we offer the biggest congratulations to her for landing this role! What an awesome opporunity for her… Hopefully she also gets to open an organic restaurant and those great charities, too. This girl’s got some slammin’ dreams!

Mariah Carey was spotted shooting the video to her song, Obsessed, at a New York City hotel. It looks like she is really getting into and feeling her character. I know that I would love to make a music video. It’s one of things on my list to do before I die.

The song is from her soon-to-be released album called Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel which hits stores on August 25, 2009. And some of the lyrics?

“Why you so obsessed with me/ Lying that you sexing me.”

I think it’s an instant hit!

Johnny Depp looked smashing today at the UK Premiere of Public Enemies at that Empire Leicester Square in London, England. I have to say that Johnny is looking fine these days. Smiling and happy, I wish he would tell me the secret so I can be just as happy as him all the time.

Johnny recently admitted that he would talk to Marion Cotillard on the Public Enemies set in French so that no one would know what they were saying.

“We would sometimes speak French to each other on the set, especially when we didn’t want anyone else to know what we were saying!”

That is so adorable!
