Gorgeous Halle Berry wore a beautiful flowy white gown to attend the opening ceremony of The 12th Shanghai International Film Festival held at the Shanghai Grand Theatre in China on Saturday (June 13). The 42 year-old actress is sporting a shorter haircut but will eventually shave it completely for her new movie “Nappily Ever After”.

Jimmy Fallon has stepped up his A game lately and made his Late Night show something that people can’t stop talking about. He has made everyone this week talk about him for sure. I think that he really has the personality and humor to take this show to great heights.
The other night he had Betty White on the show to promote her movie The Proposal. The movie that I can’t wait to see this summer. So far, Jimmy has failed miserably in the game of Beer Pong so he was hoping that Betty could change all that. And what I learnt was that Betty is really funny!
After Jimmy misses the cup a couple of times he finally gets the groove and beats Betty at the game. Finally, Jimmy is victorious.

I am a huge fan of Robert Pattinson‘s abs in the next installment of the Twilight Saga, New Moon. And now people are being quick to throw Robert under the bus saying that his abs are fake in the movie.
“Rob had a team of makeup artists working on his stomach to make it appear as if he had a six-pack,” spills one set source. “Rob is definitely not that in shape,” the informant adds. “He hates the gym and will never really be a muscle man!”
And they go on to say how the look was achieved.
“They used all the tricks — including liquid body paint, shading, and airbrushing — to make his torso look toned. Whenever they stopped filming, Rob would duck back insider to get touched up by the makeup team. The lighting team helped as well, creating the perfect way to accentuate the shading and highlights.”
And seriously, I don’t see what would be wrong with them “touching up” his abs anyways. It’s a movie, and that’s what makeup artists are supposed to do. Make stars look better. I love Robert the way he is and my opinion isn’t changed by some “source” saying his abs are fake. If I believe it for the movie then they did their job.

More than 400 people, including various actors like Keith Carradine, ALi Larter, Jane Seymour, Rob Schneider, Michael Madsen and Lucy Liu, attended David Carradine’s funeral and paid their tribute to the 72 year-old actor on Saturday (June 13) in Los Angeles.
David Carradine died under suspicious circumstances in Bangkok on June 4. His body was found hanging in the closet of his hotel room but a suicide has been ruled out as the cause of death.

American Idol Kelly Clarkson‘s fluctuating weight has been big news lately. And it seems that she can’t stop talking about herself either. She recently spoke with Reader’s Digest about her body issues. Kelly was asked what it means to her to “show girls that you don’t have to be skinny to be successful.” Her response:
I recently gave a self-esteem workshop for Girl Scouts in Nashville, and I told the girls that I wasn’t a role model for my weight, because I change. Sometimes I’m thicker when I’m around my family and I’m eating more. Sometimes I’m thinner because I’m on the road and that takes a lot out of me. But I do feel it’s important to talk to girls about weight. They see these images, and there’s no way the’ll ever live up to them. I want them to see someone who is real and know they don’t have to live up to anything.
Kelly – it’s OK. We GET IT. You are a normal, real, regular woman. The more you talk about it, though, the more it sounds like you’re trying to convince not us, but yourself. Enough!!

British actor Christopher Lee was made a knight of the British Empire on Saturday.
Lee first became known in the 1950s as Count Dracula in films by Hammer Studios. He has been described as “one of cinema’s consummate bad-guys,” whose recent repertoire includes Star Wars‘ Count Dooku and Lord of the Rings’ Saruman. He is 87 years old.

We all wanted to know the lurid details about Mel Gibson‘s divorce, especially the financial side of things… come on, don’t pretend you didn’t! Unfortunately, unless there’s a document leak, we’re just going to have to speculate on just what happened with Mel’s estimated $900M in assets.
Los Angeles Superior Judge Frederick Shaller has granted Robyn Moore-Gibson a protective order keeping the divorce details final, including
expert witness reports, tax returns and financial records, as well as videotaped depositions and other family-related material… [it] also prevents the Gibsons from discussing the case publicly.
Despite this gag order, we can assume that under California’s community property laws – not to mention the fact that Robyn and Mel’s youngest child is still a minor – Mel is pretty well screwed. Fittingly, in my opinion.

Kanye West, who recently dumped his super hot girlfriend Amber Rose, the one he stripped off in order to sell some shoes (photos here), admitted he couldn’t be happier to go with Lady GaGa on tour.
The rapper is well known to have a peculiar sense of style just like the “Poker Face” singer. “I’m into her style,” Kanye said. “It’s hot right now. I mean, I’m a guy — so obviously I’m into her.”
Wouldn’t Kanye West and Lady GaGa make the cutest, most eccentric couple in music history!?! I think they should definitely get it on… GaGa has a boyfriend but Kanye also had a girlfriend so… As for the tour, Kanye says, “With two creative minds like ours, it will be incredible.”

Megan Fox is on this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly. It’s all to promote her new movie, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. I am going to be so happy when this movie finally comes out because I feel like I have been hearing about it for two years now.
She talks about marriage and how it’s not for her…
”I don’t think [marriage] is a realistic goal for me right now. I know I’m not capable at this point in my life of being a good partner or a good wife. That’s like a joke.”
I never thought I’d say this but at least she is mature enough to realize that marriage is something sacred. Maybe she is really smart and I didn’t know it.
