When I read this casting call for a new character on the hit show, Gossip Girl, I of course thought of the now former Miss California, Carrie Prejean.  Since she was just fired from her position, I thought this could be right up her alley!

Recurring. Fun sexy blonde, irreverent, evil Miss America type, politically progressive but hails from a conservative Southern family. Has an affair with one of our gang. Four-episode arc.

She does fit the description, now doesn’t she?

Yep.  It’s true.  It’s a wee bit mind boggling to me.  But, Cher and Sonny Bono’s daughter, Chastity is going to be an ‘official male’ after the sex change procedure is complete. He started the procedure after his 40th birthday earlier this year.  So, the process is underway.

“Yes, it’s true — Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity,” confirmed Bono’s publicist, Howard Bragman.

“He is proud of his decision and grateful for the support and respect that has already been shown by his loved ones. It is Chaz’s hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his ‘coming out’ did nearly 20 years ago.

This is going to be pretty major.  I can’t imagine the recovery time this will entail.  But, wow…..Drop your thoughts below……

Everyone keeps going back and forth as to whether or not Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are together.  Well, I think that they are together, maybe just not totally committed.

Kristen seems to have a boy toy on the side and that makes Rob jealous, so then he flirts around when Kristen isn’t around.  Perhaps to make her jealous and perhaps settle down with him?

If all this is true, then Rob is giving Kristen the summer to make her choice.  She will have to commit to him or he is going to move on without her.

“Robert is completely frustrated. If Kristen isn’t interested in a serious relationship, she needs to tell him so he can move on,” says one source.

“He’s asked her to choose between him and Michael this summer,” says the source. “Robert’s not willing to be strung along.”

Good for him.  I don’t think she is worth waiting on in the first place.  Kristen seems like a big tease and she’s not even hot!

Though her introduction to her I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here cast members was “I’m Holly Montag, you might know me from a little show called The Hills,” this Montag sister actually put her money where her mouth is, kinda. She performed some sort of tree operation and helped her team win a food challenge.

What do the other “celebs” think of her?

“I think Holly appears to be less high maintenance then Heidi,” Daniel Baldwin said. “Thank Jesus Christ almighty that she hasn’t pulled out a spray bottle of shampoo!”

That’s really nice, but Daniel came at the same time as Holly, so what the crap does he know about Speidi’s spray bottles? Speaking of Heidi Montag hair care, click here to check out her plans for a new line of shampoos!

I have my DVR set for Tuesday night.  TNT will be premiering Jada Pinkett Smith in a hot new ‘medical’ show that boasts a great cast.  You’ll see some of your old faves from ‘24‘ and Alias.  This show is going to be  a hit, I know it!I think HawthoRNe will be the perfect replacement for ER in my life!!

Lance Bass was always my favorite N Sync member and still think that he is pretty hot…especially in this purple shirt buttoned down just a bit. He was at the B2V Salon in Los Angeles. It looks like he was happy with the way that they did his hair!

Did you know that Lance strongly supports organic gardens being grown in schools to teach children with? I had no clue. But it’s really interesting on what he said about it.

“Organic gardens are so important, especially in urban areas where many students would otherwise never see any greenery. I hope that the Environmental Media Association’s support will help them to grow and flourish in Los Angeles.”

I think everyone should be able to experience a garden. I had always grown up with one around…I loved stealing the food out of it too.

Wow, Bethenny Frankel. You are really starting to turn into a little bit of an attention whore, and I can’t really take it. The (non-housewife) Real Housewife of New York showed up at an event to honor the Apollo Theater in New York  City wearing a seemingly spandex, sheer halter top jumpsuit with no bra. You can see the girl’s goods in all their glory!

Seriously? Wanna-be celebrities are so ridiculous. Modest is hottest sometimes, ya know! Real men like women who leave something to the imagination, not 40 year old chicks who bare it all for the world to see.

Shia LaBeouf is on the cover of the current issue of Parade magazine. Shia has a big movie coming up, Transformers: The Revenge of the Fallen, and it looks like it will be a huge hit. It looks like he is getting his life back in order too since his accident last year. I’m glad to see it because I think that he has a chance to go far.  Here are the highlights from the interview:

On where he gets his humor from: “[From] seeing my parents have sex, smoke weed, my mom being naked … [and] twisted R-rated humor.”

On the breakup from his longtime girlfriend China Brezner of three years: “The good actors are all screwed up. They’re all in pain. It’s a profession of bottom-feeders and heartbroken people. Maybe it was career pressure. … Maybe I chose work. Every man has those feelings of escape and survival. I know you shouldn’t be that way. I’m trying to understand it and find the answers. I don’t have them now. Why did the love of my life and I break up? … Man, I have no idea. What was that all about? I have no answers to anything. None. Why am I an alcoholic? I haven’t a damn clue! What is life about? I don’t know.”

On living his life: “Sometimes I feel I’m living a meaningless life and I get frightened. I know I’m one of the luckiest dudes in America right now. I have a great house. My parents don’t have to work. I’ve got money. I’m famous. But it could all change, man. It could go away. You never know.”

On being aware of how easy it is to be overwhelmed by a skyrocketing career: “I don’t handle fame well. Most actors on most days don’t think they’re worthy. I have no idea where this insecurity comes from, but it’s a God-sized hole. If I knew, I’d fill it, and I’d be on my way.”

I hope that Shia keeps handling fame the way he is and not let it get the better of him.

Not even two months ago, Cocktail was telling us all about how in love she is with Ray J and how they are definitely a couple. Shortly thereafter, Tila Tequila said she was his woman. And how he is planning the second series of his dating show, For the Love of Ray J. I guess those player ways never left him (which was apparent when we was sleeping with more than one woman during the first season’s taping).

Now Cocktail is spilling the details of their break-up on her MySpace page. Here are the highlights:

When I was on the show, I truly fell for Ray. I invested my time, effort, and emotions into him and wanted things to work. But the reality of reality television is that it doesn’t always work. Ray and I are no longer together. We have not been together for awhile now but we have remained friends and when we hang out we have a great time. I miss him very much and respect what decisions he has made. He is a really cool person and someone I feel connected with for sure but aside from that, I can’t say.

She goes on to say that she is really happy now and has many “projects” coming up. Thrilling. Gotta love all these reality people who keeping trying to extend their already too long fifteen minutes of fame!

I don’t really know why everyone feels it is so helpful to take your clothes off in order to raise money. It’s kind of like excessive profanity- can’t you be more creative?

Anyway, America’s Next Top Model‘s first plus-sized winner, Whitney Thompson, will be taking it all off for the Broadway Bares initiative to help fight AIDS. On June 21, she will join the Strip-a-thon, one of Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS‘ signature events.
