The Screen Actors Guild is officially back under contract as of this morning at 12:01 AM. All fears and speculations about a strike are over.
SAG Members Overwhelmingly Ratify TV/Theatrical Agreements
Los Angeles, (June 9, 2009) — Screen Actors Guild announced today that members have voted overwhelmingly to approve its TV/Theatrical contracts by a vote of 78 percent to 22 percent.
The two-year successor agreement covers film and digital television programs, motion pictures and new media productions. The pact becomes effective at 12:01 a.m. June 10, 2009 and expires June 30, 2011.
The contracts provide more than $105 million in wages, increased pension contributions, and other gains and establishes a template for SAG coverage of new media formats.
Unfortunately it took so long to get this done that it’s now the middle of hiatus. Hiatus being the traditionally work free months of May and June in the industry. I get the feeling this year will be different though.

John Stamos was spotted out and about in New York yesterday. It seems like John seems kind of lost now that ER is over. I loved him in ER, I wish that they would have kept the show around longer just to see his character develop. Hopefully, that spin off for him is a go.
Until then John has a great idea for a Full House movie, we reported that last week here. I don’t see what the draw would be doing the movie with different cast members. That would make it pointless.

Gossip Girl star, Kelly Rutherford gave birth to her beautiful baby girl on Monday, June 8th at 9:20pm. Helena Grace Rutherford Giersch weighed in at a healthy 8lbs 12oz and is doing great.
Big brother (2) Hermes Gustaf, is all set to be a big brother!
Kelly’s soon to be ex-husband, Daniel Giersch claims that he wasn’t notified about Kelly giving birth, that he found out on the internet. Hmmmm, that’s a wee bit odd. I think he’s a creep and well, I wouldn’t want him to be there either. He will get his visitation rights and that will be good enough. Ugh.
Congrats to YOU Kelly, can’t wait to see pics of your little princess!

Mariah Carey has been flaunting some very healthy curves lately! The pregnancy rumors are all but exhausted, so what’s going on with Mimi? A source says it’s pretty simple: she’s just pigging out!
“Mariah loves food. Right now she’s making an album and eating everything and anything she wants. She has put on about 15 pounds, but she loves the curves. She’ll definitely tone up again when she releases her album, but as of now, she’s stuffing her face.”
Honestly, I think Mariah looks fine, stuffed face or not. I’d so much rather see celebrities at healthy sizes than skeletal!

Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds star in the upcoming movie The Proposal, and much has already been made about their nude scene. E! Online asked Sandra about getting naked with Ryan and she described his body as “rock hard”!
E!: Really? Rock hard?
Sandra: No! Ryan is rock hard, but no no no no, nothing was hard. I’m sure it gets hard, but not that time, and it was all fine. I mean, I wouldn’t know if he had anything down there because I never looked!

The Hangover‘s Heather Graham admitted recently that she’s into tantric sex, so why not witchcraft too? She recently spilled about more of her little secrets:
“I have this group of friends and we get together and we call ourselves The Goddesses and we wish for things and then a lot of amazing things have happened to all of us… We burn things — honoring the elements of earth, wind, air and fire. You do spells. We did this thing where we were calling on the wind and the air and this whole storm started on my roof… It was amazing… empowering.”
Heather even claims that she helped influence national politics.
“My friends really wanted Obama to be elected so we all did a spell and then he got elected,” she divined. “It worked out good.”
May I roll my eyes any harder at Heather and her friends? I know practicing pagans who would say that her little spell group is a sad attempt at being something that they are not.

Good news! Miley Cyrus is single! That’s not really the good news. Everyone should have a love in life. But, I never thought that Justin Gaston was the right guy for Miley. In fact I think Justin is a little whack and well, he never had any business being with her in the first place. I can only imagine how happy Billy Ray and Tish must be!
I know that breaking up hurts a bit. Miley and Justin aren’t holding back. They are shedding their tears on Twitter……..
“Tears are words the heart can’t express,” Cyrus, 16, wrote Sunday night. Gaston, 20, tweeted the next morning, “How many tears are in there? They’ve gotta run out soon, right?”
Yeah, they will run out real soon. At least for Miley. I think she and Nick Jonas will be back together before you know it. They will of course claim to be “just friends” for a bit. They wouldn’t want to come across as mean and heartless to “poor” Justin. I think that would be perfect. Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus back together. LOVES IT! 
Side note: Ladies beware, Justin Gaston is on the prowl….you could be his next “pot of gold”…….

Jennifer Love Hewitt was at the Monte Carlo Television Festival in Monaco today promoting her show, Ghost Whisperer. I love these pictures of her. She looks amazingly happy.
I found out a MAJOR SPOILER for next season. I haven’t finished watching this season yet so I should really have paid attention to the warning of not reading ahead. So you have been warned too.
Ghost Whisperer is considering doing a time jump when Melinda and Jim’s son is in preschool. This is when they found out that their son has better psychic abilities then Melinda. I’m not sure how this would effect the show. I think sometimes when you time jump it’s hard to get the story straight afterwards, like it has to go in that direction for sure.
It will be interesting to see next season for sure.
