Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen made another $36.7 million on Friday, if it keeps making this kind of money it could beat The Dark Knight‘s 5-day opening record! 

The Dark Knight holds the five-day opening domestic record with $203.8 million. “Revenge of the Fallen” could earn $115 million this weekend for a five-day total of $205 million.

By far the biggest movie so far this year, nothing before this one has made so much so quickly!

After the tragic and sudden death of the ‘King of Pop’ Michael Jackson on thursday, the media is planning a long and exhaustive run of coverage surrounding every aspect of his life and untimely death.  

With so many loose ends emerging from the death of Michael Jackson, TV’s entertainment strips and news mags were preparing Friday for what will likely be weeks — possibly months — of coverage.

“I do expect it to dominate the headlines for quite a while,” said ”Entertainment Tonight” and ”The Insider” exec producer Linda Bell Blue. “There are a lot of unanswered questions – who gets custody of the children? What about his will? Who gets the assets of his estate? Where will he be buried?”

It seems like the rumors were true and Britney Spears is, in fact, engaged to her friend and manager Jason Trawick, who is probably the first guy to get the approval of the Spears family.

Britney dressed in short shorts and yellow top made sure to flash the camera a beautiful diamond ring in her left ring finger while out and about with Jason on Friday (June 16).

A source said: ‘They are totally and definitely dating. Her dad loves him. He’s the best thing that happened to her. He makes Britney really happy, and he’s great with the boys.’

It has been a long time since we actually saw Britney looking this happy. Jason is an upgrade from her previous loser boyfriends, Kevin Ferderline, with whom she married and has two sons (Sean Preston and Jayden James), and paparazzo Adnan Ghalib.

Congratulations to the happy couple!!

I bet just like me everyone is wondering how good Kristen Stewart’s singing will be for the movie she is filming right now, The Runaways. She plays Joan Jett. And you know there has to be singing involved in that role.

Celebuzz found this clip this morning of Kristen playing the guitar and singing along when she was in the movie, Into The Wild, back in 2007. I was amazed that her singing, may I say it is better than her acting. I know I am horrible but I haven’t really decided about her acting, but her singing is awesome.

This movie really looks cool, it’s hard to pull off a good vampire film. This really looks like an interesting hybrid of the film Children of Men and Blade. I’d see it based solely on the trailer.

Here’s the full theatrical trailer for the upcoming film Amelia starring Hilary Swank.

I’m amazed that there hasn’t been a major theatrical release about Amelia Earhart. This movie does look like it will be good, but I can’t say it has anywhere near the draw of a movie like The Aviator. Regardless, this is something to see with a cast like this.

Not a movie that I’m going to rush out and see, it’s hard for me to look at Ashton Kutcher as anything other than the bubbling idiot Michael from That 70s Show. Not to mention this movie looks flat-out boring.
