Alaska Governor Sarah Palin Resigns, Set For Presidential Run in 2012
I don’t know if I am surprised or not at this news. Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin is going to be stepping down from her role as governor and doesn’t plan to run for re-election.
“It hurts to make this choice but I’m doing what’s best for Alaska,” she said in speech from the backyard of her Wasilla home with husband Todd and children Piper, Bristol and Willow at her side. “You can effect change from the outside, and I can too.”
Palin wants to be a good mom, a good grandma, and simply a good U.S. citizen. There is nothing wrong with that. Maybe this ‘down time’ will give her the time she needs to process the idea of running for President. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
I hope that she can gain an ounce of privacy, enjoy her family and a somewhat normal lifestyle for a change…..

Obama’s porkulus program is a train wreck, all it’s done is bump interest rates and tank the dollar. We are being laughed at by bad guys like Tehran, Pyongyang, and Al Qaida who amazingly turned-down Barack’s friend-requests.
Palin could trounce him in 2012, when Americans would vote for the Gipper-in-Heels in drones- while begging for lower taxes, free enterpise, and a defense posture with some backbone- and an end to the radical, anti-American nightmare we’ve got now.
