Joining the thousands of fans that will paying their respects at Tuesday’s memorial for Michael Jackson is one Mariah Carey. The singer who reintroduced the Jackson 5‘s “I’ll Be There” to a new generation of fans when she sang it on MTV’s Unplugged in 1992, will sing it again at Tuesday’s event at the Staple’s Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Due to the large crowds that are expected to flood the L.A. area, police are urging fans to watch the Memorial on TV from their own homes.
